Outboard Remote Control Box Throttle Shift for BRP Johnson Evinrude 5006180 Side Mount Boat Remote Control Box

2001 evinrude ficht 150 hp - replaced the throttle and shift cables and needed a new control box, i was a little nervous about it because of the previous reviews. The shifter arrived in new condition and everything looked like good quality. The choke lever works great, doesnt bend and the tilt button works good too. No issues. Very happy with the purchase.

Installed this only to find the cheap plastic locking but was broken. I drilled holes in my boat, installed throttle and shifter cables, bolted omit on to find out the last part, the ignition locking nut was cracked and would not lock down. Yes I can return it but after all that time and hard work I need to uninstall it and send it back for a two cent item that I've been told they can't send me. Lost time on the water the water that I can't get back. Customer service for broken parts not available.

They did not specify what years that the throttle Cables would or wouldn't work with. Tried to message seller all I got was read up on it. Didn't find throttle cable info until reading instructions

Had to replace it after only one month it never worked how it was supposed to. And at first didn’t do anything to return it cause I went away and now it was to late. But don’t waist your money
