nice curtains~~
The color is a true beige. The fabric is nice and sturdy, with that heavy feel without being too stiff. It moves very easily on the rod, and hangs very nicely. It does a great job blocking out light, but can't tell how effective it'll be blocking out cold air/keeping hot air in.I'm very happy, and ordered 5 sets !It comes a bit wrinkled, but nothing a quick steam in the shower didn't fixSteaming:Hang a few grommet on hangers, and hang them on the shower rod. (with the shower curtain open)turn on very hot water (with the shower head pointing towards the far wall, so that the curtains don't get wet) for about 10 mins with the bathroom door closed. Don't stay in the bathroom, it gets very steamy. After turning off the hot water, keep the bathroom door closed for about 20 mins so that the steam can take the wrinkles out.

Look nice, blocks sun, no dust.
Love these curtains.Pros:- The gromets on top make it easy to slide open and closed.- They are very elegant looking- They do block the sun and keep the house cool on warm days (save on air conditioning) or just darken the room if you need that- They don't seem to collect dust. We now have these on two windows, had them for about a year on one of the windows & haven't even noticed any dust on them. I'm a clean FREAK (I dust at least once a week) and I have never had to touch the curtains.Cons:- I wish there were more size options. We covered our patio door and got the width we needed but the curtains were too long and had to be sewn shorter. After sewing them, they are perfect. No other complaints!

Great for blocking out light
For some reason my door to the back yard is 8' tall. I didn't want to get vertical blinds because from previous experience they tend to break over time. So I decided to get some blackout curtains. Not just for looks but also since it takes away the light and makes the room darker for better TV viewing.A while back I bought a pair of these to cover the opening thinking it was enough. It was, but having it stretched out to the max on the curtain rod made it look too flat like a sheet. So I bought another pair and it looks much better... it has a fuller look so I would definitely recommend getting four panels for a 6' wide opening. The grommets are a nice quality and hold up to the every day movement I put them through to open and close the curtains. The material is good quality and darkens the room very well. Since these are over 8' long they drag on the floor... and that's even with me installing the curtain rod as close to the ceiling as possible. I guess I could velcro the bottom to get it off the floor but I kind of like the look of it being all the way down on the floor. Preference I guess.Final thoughts: The product is of good quality and does what it is supposed to do. Take into account how much height you need to either get if off the floor or not. Definitely recommend!

They work!
I've had these up about a month now, and am amazed at the difference they make! They are attractive, seem light weight, and actually do "black out" my room. This morning was very chilly outside, and, when my husband opened the curtains it felt as if he'd poured cold air all over me, so they are doing a good job of insulating the room. It does take a bit of practice to pull the curtains closed so they completely block the light (smooth the central "seam" between the two panels carefully, don't just grab and pull together) but finally, after years of trying different curtains and shades, the morning sun doesn't wake me! It's nice to be able to use an alarm clock.

No more sunlight!!
These are excellent blackout curtains, cut down on just about all light coming through our bedroom window. One thing to realize (I didn't until after I ordered them) is that to get rid of all light coming through you need a set of panels with about 2x the width of the window; otherwise, a little light does come through around the edges of the curtains.

These curtains are fantastic! Two of our front windows face the rising sun and you would never know it. No light snuck through. I have a hard time sleeping in bed some night and move to the living room couch and I can't believe I slept in so long this morning because the sun wasn't in my eyes. I recommend these to anyone looking for a quality blackout curtain!

so far . so good - reallly good!
we just got these today and hung them . let me say first , they are a very pretty fabric , nice and heavy feeling satin-y stuff . I am impressed / happy with the amount of light they block out - so far , well worth the cost (heck , they are pretty enough that even if they didnt they would be worth the pricing .I will try to remember to edit my post in a week or so, once we've had a chance to ascertain if the thermal aspect of these curtains are good as well.so far - impressed!

A+ Curtains
I bought two pair of these curtains. I liked that they are sold in pairs, unlike most curtains. The material seems to be a of good, thick quality. We get intense sun (and associated heat) on the south side of our house and these curtains block out a lot of light and heat. We also put a pair up on our north facing Windows and have noticed a significant reduction in the amount of cold air seeping in through the windows. The only improvement I would make to this product is to make the backing white. It will reflect the heat better and would improve curb appeal for those of us who like curtains to look matching from the street view.
