I was surprised at the quality of the fabric and I couldn’t tell they weren’t the real thing. Not a clue! He sat and watched a few minutes of TV before getting in the pool. It took a couple of minutes before it started to fall apart. It was hilarious and I got the video “butt” it’s just a bit too revealing. I could easily sew the pieces back together and have a decent pair of trunks for less than what it would cost at the store. I’d buy it again but now all my friends and family have seen the video and won’t trust me if I give them swimming trunks.

bought these for my husband for a beach vacation. they look and feel very similar to a normal swim trunk. took about 7 minutes in the beach to start tearing apart. i did pull on the back pocket to help speed the prcoess up. my husband loved the color and look and was actually sad he wouldn't be able to wear them again. it made for the best prank!!! make sure the person wearing the swim trunks have underwear on when getting in the water

GET THESE SWIM TRUNKS!! This was such a random purchase but such a funny one and well worth the money. I got two of these for my husband and stepson and they had no idea!! I wanted to prank them so I wrapped them as if I had been thoughtful and bought them as a gift and suggested they wear them on our next outing on the boat and when they jumped into the water or took them a minute to realize their trunks were dissolving!! HAHA IT WAS SO FUNNY!! Quality is great. No one will suspect as they look like regular swim trunks. I got both in L because they are different weight and height but they both fit perfectly on either one. They look cute too!!

I bought from 4 different online brands for varying lengths and to check quality. I sent them to the lake house for our upcoming 4th of July family get together. I opened them- checked to make sure there wasn’t anything to give them away- then put them in a pile in the laundry room. I told the men in the family that if anyone needed a set of swim trunks I had just ordered a bunch of sizes bc I knew out of my 4 guys- one of them would forget their swim trunks. 🤭Then I panicked- my 16 year old immediately fessed up to forgetting his and put them on. If he went into the lake first- the prank would end with him! My 25 year old was wearing his own and our 22 year old looked at them and said they looked kind of cheap- like they might dissolve or something… 😳IMO they honestly only look maybe a tad less quality than regular trunks- so I simply explained they were just cheap ones I purchased online as backups and I didn’t spend a lot on them.He inspected. That sufficed.My husband brought his own and no matter how much I tried to get him into a “trendier” trunk- he wouldn’t. My brother checked them out and said they looked just like his “Chubbies”.His wife agreed and grabbed a pair to put in his drawer for later.All of the women were in on it. So when my 16 year old started to head to the beach without the rest of the guys I panicked- my husband saw my panic and asked me what was up. I confessed they were indeed dissolving trunks and I didn’t want just one to go in the water and ruin the prank for the rest of the guys… so my husband said: wait!The lake is ice cold- let’s see who can get up on the floating trampoline first - I’ll give the winner $20My 22 year old hurried up and changed and off they went!16 year old is heard saying: “oh no I ripped my shorts!” As he swims. My 22 year old is ahead of him and is attempting to get up on the trampoline (which my the ladder had not been installed yet so it’s quite the task getting up on it).He lunges up and doesn’t realize at all that his backside is completely exposed. The cloths are hanging by the waist string and the seams are gone at this point.He jumps out of the water onto a swim platform and looks at his brother swimming up to him who is panicking saying: my shorts- they ripped!! Completely ripped! 🫣At this point our 22 year hears the roar of laughter coming from the beach and looks down at his own trunks….The shock and recognition instantly visible!“I KNEW IT! They ARE dissolving swim trunks!! HOW COULD YOU?! I’m naked in public!! I’m a school teacher for crying out loud with children around!!!!”Mind you- it is a public lake but we have our own beach and water toys- but yeah- he was sort of mad, but mostly just embarrassed.The pair my sister in law had grabbed secretly awaited my brother to find them later that week.We were out on the boat when my brother said: so if my wife had been a better liar- I would likely be wearing that blue set of dissolving trunks right now. I pulled them out of my drawer and asked her: “are these mine or a pair of those dissolving ones my sister brought?!” And she smirked.My 16 year old took the pineapple ones and drowned them to see exactly how they worked. Had he just asked me- I would have explained: the seams dissolve, not the fabric. So eventually all the seams just disappear and you’re literally left with drawstring around your waist and nothing else!!!! 😂😆🫣 it’s frigging hilarious. Everyone said it was THE BEST PRANK ever. I bought all the ladies beach cover ups with sexy bikini bodies on them. It was a memorable week. 💕
