I mix the two together. I had family in town for two weeks and we ate alot and on the days I felt extra bloated or full, I just mixed up a couple of teaspoons and it helped alleviate the bloated feeling. Even after all of the extra eating, I haven't gained what I though I would. I did read tht the charcoal takes nutrients away from the body, so it's not something to use on a daily basis (although I have). But I THINK it has helped keep off the extra gain??? HANGOVERS: I had a couple of family members vist the day after the 4th of July (after too much party) and I read that it helped with hangovers, so I put it to the test with one, and when he said he started feeling better, the other wanted to me to mix up a batch for him. I don't drink, so I can't say from personal experience how quickly it worked or how much better it makes a hangover feel. But I am about to buy my second jar!

I'm leaving this review after buying this twice. I intend to keep buying it. I really love how fine the texture is on the clay. I like to wash my face with the clay and water alone. I have very sensitive skin so I have to be minimal with all the skincare products I use. This clay gently thoroughly exfoliates without irritating my sensitive skin.I would love if I could buy the clay alone without the charcoal.

The two side mixed in the process I guess of shipping so the clay wasn’t the greenish color it was more of green with black specks

Love this product. My doctor advised me to take this product for removing mold toxicity. I like how charcoal does not taste anything. Just looks black. I also tried putting the charcoal in my body wrap and it mixes well with body products.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN OPENING THIS PACKAGE. EXPLODED ALL OVER MYSELF, CLOTHING, HANDS, COUNTER, AND FLOOR. CAN NOT TELL THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE CHARCOAL AND CLAY. THERE IS CHARCOAL EVERYWHERE. Second picture is after trying to clean up the powder. My hands are STAINED. Had to use Clorox bleach spray on counters. Horrible mess. Didn't take a picture of the floor or counter beforehand as I was trying to clean the mess before my kids and puppy trampled thru

This has done wonders for my skin & figure. My sin has had damage from the sun & there have been areas of my body that were not losing weight but utilizing this along with a healthy diet and exercise has helped tremendously!

I was looking forward to using this and liked that I could get both charcoal and clay at the same time in one package. However, it arrived with the charcoal mixed into the clay. I dug down over an inch looking for non-tainted clay but it still had charcoal mixed in.I planned to use it several ways, both individually and mixed together, but I don't know what the ratio of charcoal/clay is mixed and I don't have any "clean" clay.Great idea, but the packaging kills it. I did notice there was a piece of Styrofoam between the lid and the tear-away top, but it still wasn't strong enough to seal off the 2 compartments.Very disappointed and have what is essentially a useless clay/charcoal mix. Am now looking for just clay.
