I just got the room finished that I was setting up for the computer and laser engraver. After months of work, time and waiting i got open the box and try it out. Putting it together wasnt really that bad a bit confusing but not horrible. Got it hooked up to the PC it powered on and connected fine, did the update and sadly it doesn't work, the drive to move the laser doesn't move it, just burns a hole. Very disappointed.

I expected a new in box product for the amount I paid. Right from the start you could see it was a repack. Several parts were missing. With 2 people assembling, (1 reading & watching u-tube while 1 assembled) made it easier. After that it was u-tube or self-taught. Manual is for assembly only and it would have been nice if the manual in the box was actually for the product in the box. Not sure if Amazon or Makebook is at fault. As I become more familiar with the product, it is a fun creative machine.

The rotary tool is not accurate with the software. In other words, your images on your files will turn out completely rotated and/or mirrored vs what is displayed on the screen setup. So play around with it before wasting it on something valuable.

This product is create very well quality images/engravings on wood, stainless steel, and leather on what I tried it on.
