Classic Rectangular Negative Strength Prescription Eyewear Glasses Power -1.00 thru -2.25 (Grey Tortoise, -2.25)

I am giving these glasses 5 stars because even though the prescription is too strong for me, the glasses themselves are fine. Sometimes when my eyes are tired and I'm driving, the street signs and car license plates become blurry, so I purchased these glasses in the lowest possible strength, but when I put them on, I feel my eyes straining a bit because they're too strong. It's not the shipper or the glasses' fault. I guess my vision just isn't weak enough for these.

I bought two of these glasses and I use for driving until I get a new prescription made but I have a word of caution... these are cheaply made and the plastic is of low quality the lenses are also cheap and by the way proper frames are made of acetate, zyl, and other materials, an this isn't it. Be careful while wearing it , you don't want this to break on your face and do yourself a favor, go to an eye doctor to have a prescription made.

So happy I found these. Never knew you could even buy negative glasses the same as you can readers. I wear contacts mostly but when it gets late and I need to take them out, I don't because my real prescription glasses correct my vision fully but make it difficult to see my computer screen. I got the -2.5 which is about half my full prescription strength and it allows me to see the computer monitor perfectly.

I broke my original pair of glasses so you can imagine how ecstatic I was when I found this pair (Which looked identical to my original pair). And to my astonishment, they worked just as well as my prescribed glasses! I just guessed my prescription and I amazingly got it first try! Build quality is good! The glasses do not seem cheap and look like a semi expensive pair of glasses! Very Impressed!-Hunter

These work great for computer glasses. The frame is pretty sturdy for the price. Some people report using them for normal outside use, but I can't do that. I'm old and my eyes don't focus anymore, but for fixed distance work they are great. The only trouble is figuring out the power you need. You have to match it not only to your eyes but to the distance you want to use therm. My eyes are about the same, so once I figured that out, which I did by trial and error, I was all set. My regular prescription with decent frames, no-scratch coating, and progressive lenses, which I need for driving, is a lot more expensive than this!

I love these glasses. I could never find readers in stores. On my recent yearly eye exam I asked my doctor what was the prescription in my computer glasses and was told it's -2.25. This is why I couldn't find them in other stores. I was thrilled to find them here, now I won't have to spend over $100 for computer glasses again!

I can't see far at all. Everything is more blurry than it ever was. Going to an eye doctor, trying to pick a pair of driving glasses myself is not going to work!

Decent glasses. A little smaller on my face but I’m a bigger guy. Also they look a little more purple than the picture. I only wear them after I take my contacts off for the night. Overall they get the job done for a great price. Would order again
