can I use the crimps on mono or flourocarbon?

Just my opinion, but it seems to me that there is a possibility of the edges of the sleeve material could possibly cut the mono or fluorocarbon line. Higher possibility of cutting them than of the sleeves cutting through the steel leaded material.

It will work on aluminum sleeves of the same diameter listed for the stainless

what is the test weight of the line?

You can use whatever line weight you want as long as it will fit the sleeves. The largest sleeve in the assortment is #10. I fish mainly walleye and use 20 lb. test nylon coated steel leader to make my spinners so if I get a northern pike , it won't bite off my hooks.
