I’m 5’7” 165lbs, I do a lot of bodyweight and explosive exercises like jump lunges, box jumps, pull-ups, push-ups, squats, etc— this has been great for all of the above. I was concerned that it would not fit as snug as I wanted it to but it adjust very easily and I’ve been very happy especially for the price — The weight distributes very evenly and is so much more comfortable than lead weights bouncing on my chest or back like some of the vests I have used in the past. I haven’t had any problems with the material tearing or wearing down but I’ve only been using it for A month so far. I also have not started wearing it to run yet but I plan to next week and I’m confident it won’t be a problem. Hey good buy for a great price.

First I want to say this vest is worth purchasing. It’s not quit 12 lbs and I was upset about that but I purchased this for my son and he said it feels fine to him. The scale was weighing it at 11lbs by itself and 10.8lbs when my son was wearing it. He needed a vest that wouldn’t move a lot while he runs and this one fits just fine. The mesh pocket on the back can hold a small phone like the iPhone 7 but the iPhone 6s Plus is too big. I will be ordering 20lbs vest soon. I hope that the 20lbs vest is actually 20lbs.My sons review is that “the vest is fine, works great.” That is a raving-est review you can get from a teen these days.But I, the mother, also used the vest so I could give a more discriptive review. The vest is adjustable so it can fit thicker frames as well as it does thin ones. My son has a 33 inch chest and wears a small in mens shirts where as I have a 38D chest area and wear a large in women’s. It fits my son a tad bit loose but it fits me more snug in the same adjustments because of my mom chest. When wearing the vest there is no real bounce while running. It shift a bit but it’s not really noticeable in a bothersome way. BUT when doing burpees and jumping jacks the vest bounces around as expected.It was a great purchase and would recommend it to other small people looking for a more fitted vest.

Weight is well-distributed. The vest fits comfortably; I wasn't sure it would because I am large busted, but no issues. It has some stretch and my 6'5" son was able to wear it comfortably also.

Great vest for running. It fits my medium build well and doesn't shift around too much at a moderate pace. I have noticed that if I run more rapidly or for long distances the sand shifts toward the bottom of the shoulder straps, and the vest begins to sway.I give it 5 stars, however, because the sand is easily shifted to an even distribution after the run. I simply invert it and give it a few shakes.All and all if you run around 3 miles at about 9 minutes a mile, it's perfect.

So far so good! I just got this thing today. First off it’s a little heavy when you initially pick it up. I mean it’s 12 pounds of sand. Also my arms are weak hence this purchase. However, once I put it on, I was in love, well maybe really strong like. It first perfectly, the material is soft and the weight is perfect for me. It kind of feels like someone is hugging you from behind, but the weight is just enough to give you a great workout. Tonight I just did a quick run/walk type of deal with my pups just to test it out. It was so great that I wore it around the house for an additional 45 min.

This is a great product. I initially bought a different weight vest made for the female body...It did not work for me at all. I DID NOT have to be a contortionist to get this on. I placed it on with ease, the item is very very well made and the secure lock to keep in place adjusted very sturdy to your needs. This was designed perfectly and the description of this vest was dead on. GREAT PRODUCT.

Excellent vest for workouts:Pros: value for money, 12lbs good weight level, good fit for my frame (6’, 175lbs), fits well under my workout jacketCons: shape makes sit-ups difficult (can’t lie flat) but worth it in my mind for benefit if added weigh, single chest strap could be better-time will tell how it holds up

The vest is indeed comfortable on runs or if you used it for pull-ups/calisthenics type of workouts; however, the material is very fragile. If it got caught on something and ripped the material, all of your little beads will fall out. Every time I take it off, I would treat it as if it was an infant. Maybe add another option for a stiffer/durable material? The vest also weighed closer to 11 lbs.Other than that, it does the job.
