High quality machine. Thin, light and gorgeous looking outside. The keyboard is good. The screen is good. Chrome OS boots up and down instantly and I love it.Only 2 problems, both related to unique hardware that this machine offers.It has a very high resolution, 1600 px vertically, but Chome OS does not know how to use such a high resolution. So it comes in the box with a preset resolution of 900 px---a little more than 50% of the hardware capability.Secondly Chrome OS 'keeps' forgetting which app to use to create new notes with the stylus. By the default it's Keep, but immediately after you open Settings for the stylus it says you have no app that can be used with the stylus. You can keep open Play Store and installing all the app it suggests but can never set the stylus to use any of the app.Samsung uncharacteristically does not seem to spend a lot of effort to write their own software to take advantage of their hardware.

Update: After struggling with this Chromebook for several days and finding it slow, sluggish and constantly dropping the wifi connection, I decided to try an old router I had forgotten that I still had. Bingo! Thing runs like lightning, and I gained at least 15 meters of distance from the router. I had no reason to try to get a better connection in a different location other than my home, as it will be used almost exclusively at home. Don't have a clue why it didn't like my cable company supplied router all the other devices in my home (5 devices) seemed okay with it. Now, with the Chromebook being so fast and gaining so much range, I may switch them all over to the old router. I should have suspected the cable company would have supplied junk, as they have been rated at, or near the bottom of consumer satisfaction for about a decade. I have satellite TV, but they have a monopoly on internet where I live. Now, I like my Chromebook, the way I do my Galaxy S7 edge phone.....a lot!!

I'm an educator who uses a device for more of the day than not. I was torn between buying a regular computer and a Chromebook. Since I use Google apps for just about everything, I decided to try it out. I wanted a touch screen that was convertible so I could use it as a tablet, but I also wanted to be able to try out digital sketchnotes with a stylus that feels like a pen. This one actually came with one, so it was my final decision! I had to buy an adapter to be able to present with it (only having a USBC port), but it was an easy fix with all the options available. Just keep that in mind, your normal flash drive won't work without an adapter. It's easy to connect to a projector and the device is Google Play app compatible. I seriously love this device!

I rarely give anything one star, and I am a lover of all devices Samsung - until this one. This Chromebook is virtually useless. I do very little on it - i play Words with Friends and Card Shark Solitaire games, and I surf the web. It crashes 6-8 times per day. It just can't handle the games. The entire thing just freezes, and either the games shut down and the system continues, or the whole things freezes and has to be hard booted.These are not memory-intensive or graphic-intensive games. Multiple tablets, including Samsung's, have been able to handle them perfectly. The touch screen sensitivity is sub-par, and using a stylus other than the one included is not recommended.I'm hugely disappointed in this gadget.

Just fancy, if you want good specs choose a different computer. My touchscreen recently stopped working trying to figure out how to fix it. You can not have more than 8 tabs open. This computer is not worth the price. I would recommend a different Chromebook that has better specs especially if you are multitasking. As stated the touch screen has stopped functioning I do not want to master reset it, but that is the last solution.

I cannot complain about this Samsung Chromebook so far. It's kind of nice for the price. But if your looking for any help learning Google's Chromebook command language, to add to what you know about Microsoft or Apple OS, I haven't been able to find a helpful person through Samsung or Googles numbers provided. Chrome would grow faster if they reliably tutored more.

We own two of these and love them both. Great performance and enjoy the apps from the google play store. The stylus works well and reduces fingerprints on the touch screen.Battery life is a bit shorter than other chromebooks, but still 7-8 hrs worth.

Love this notebook for carrying to school every day. I can use note-taking apps and love the inbuilt stylus. It can also manage a surprising number of things, practically everything except the most heavy duty data manipulation. Even that would be possible if I installed Linux side-by-side. Love this little computer!
