Brewing tea or coffee has never been so easy. This is the original patented Piao I teapot made by Piao I Enterprise Co., Ltd. While there are many popular infusers on the market, the Piao I has a built-in teapot that allows for the separation of the brew from the tea leaves once the perfect brew has been achieved. It has an upper chamber for brewing tea or coffee to the desired strength. Then just press a button and the perfectly brewed tea will drain into a lower chamber from where it can be poured into a cup for consumption. Any remaining tea, separated from the leaves, retains its perfect strength. Alternatively, the top chamber may be removed and the lower chamber can function as a cup. While this product specifies use for infusing tea, it works equally well for coffee. A splendid device for work and for home. It also makes a wonderful gift for a tea/coffee lover or someone on the go. The Piao I teapot is made of strong pyrex glass, dishwasher-safe and so easy to clean. It can hold 500cc/16 ounces of tea when the infuser is removed and 300cc/10 ounces of tea when the infuser is in place

Extremely pleased with the purchase. This product met or exceeded all of my expectations
Let me jump right in say, I am extremely pleased with this purchase. Mine arrived today, and I use it for the first time; its exquisitely simple but make the perfect couple of loose of pu-reh tea. The item I received is the original and not a knock off. I am enjoying a cup of tea at the time of this writing. If this item was to break after the return date for any reason I would immediately purchase another one. All I can say is if you're looking for a simple high quality solution for brewing / steeping loose tea, look no further.

Must have for gunpowder tea
This is an aboslute must have for Gunpowder Tree drinkers. You cannot make a good tea without a press like this because the first thing you have to do is dump the first poouring of water since it opens up the tea leaves.You can get a strainer for cheaper but that gets very messy and you end up wasting alot of tea since with this you can just leave the tea leaves inside a clean sealed container for the next use. I only need to change out my leaves after 5-6 times.... So the flavor stays for 2 whole days! An absolute must have!!

They sent me a Guangdong knockoff, not the real Taiwanese award-winning Piao-I GL-865 they claimed it to be.
Ordered this this thinking it was the same award-winning design Taiwanese Piao-I teapot starter set with pu'erh tea samples that I bought 3 years ago, but they sent me a mainland china knockoff that's clearly cheaply built, and it doesn't include tea samples. Disappointed!
Ordered and paid for a "Made in Taiwan" Piao 1 teapot, the genuine article. I received a Chinese-made knock-off. Disappointed!

Amazing
Very simple to use and this makes the best tea as well! I got one in Seattle from China town and it has been a great investment. If it broke, I would buy another one without the slightest hesitation!

best tea cup maker ever
We just came back from China and bought different type of cups and pots to make tea. The Piao tea maker is great because is the cleanest way to make tea, no spills ever, see through cup, plastic, easy to clean, perfect size, works everytime, there is no other like it!!!
