Cover an exhaust or speaker on the 2020 M1 iMac so it's not the best solution and it's expensive too! Well-made though.

Reasonable price when compared to many other hubs. Is easy to install and stays firm. Usual Anker quality, I love their products!

Perfect to avoid rooting around at the back of the screen. Never had a bad Anker product.

Apple, in their wisdom decided to remove all of the USB A type ports from their new iMac M1. They were replaced with 2 USB C ports and 2 USB C thunderbolt only (and only 2 USB thunderbolt ports on their cheapest model). These are situated at the rear of the machine. My choice was to have to move the machine to access the rear every time I needed to use a port or buy a remote hub. After much deliberation I chose the Anker 535 which attaches neatly to the bottom of the iMac, so no wires trailing across my desk top. There were no reviews so I took a chance.Anker do make another hub which sits under the iMac stand but was about £30 more expensive. Having pushed my luck to the absolute extreme with my wife, having bought the iMac, I opted for the cheaper version, and although quite expensive for what it is, it appears to be well designed and manufactured. It has one standard SD port, one micro SD port, two USB A (original type) ports and a USB thunderbolt port. It has an 18 month warranty which I hope not to use but will update later if I need to. As a side note, the Apple adaptor lead, USB C to one USB A - which is essential if you have USB A flash drives and no remote hub, dangles at the back of the machine and costs £19.00!!!
