Lovely dress but had to return for bigger size (XL) since the recent weight gain was not figured into the equation. One of those pieces that I would order in every color that I like though.

I actually purchased this for church and I was a little nervous with that slit on the side but it’s absolutely appropriate and looks great. I’ve actually worn it twice and I really like the material as well as how it breathes on me. I’m usually in something black so this was a great change with the color, I ordered burgundy. The material is a standard online material if you get what I mean, it isn’t the best but it’s also nowhere near the worst. Actually the dress seems like it could be a quality piece. I mean it’s not very lightweight and flimsy. I’m pretty happy with this order, I hope this review was helpful if so please let me know down below.

The color and cut of this dress are really cute. I'm a tall, curvy woman though and I found the material to be unforgiving. It's thin and shows every body flaw that you would hope your clothes cover. I admit that I don't wear shapewear because I can't stand feeling squished into anything and maybe if I did I would feel differently about this dress. But if you want something to throw on that you can feel confident will cover any bumps or wobbly bits, this isn't it. It's also a bit shorter than I thought it would be, but again, I'm tall for a woman.

I’m 5’6”, 140#, 32D, and a size small in dresses for reference. I ordered this dress in a size small and it fits snuggly and really hugs my curves. I like the vintage silhouette it creates. The slit on the leg was a little higher than I expected, but still wearable. The material is very stretchy and forgiving over lumps and bumps. My only issue with this dress is that I have to constantly keep pulling the bottom down because it likes to creep up. All I have to do is walk across the room and it gets bunched up. I included a close up photo of the bottom half of the dress to show what I mean. It’s not the end of the world, but it certainly is annoying to wear a garment that you have to keep fussing with the entire time you are wearing it. Overall, good quality and comfortable…just a bit fussy.

The material on this dress is very good and thick very good quality and it is well made. I ordered this dress to wear to my best friend wedding this October coming up. I have not worn the dress but I did try it on and it fits amazing I love the little split to show a little leg but still be elegant. This is a must have dress and can be worn with different accessories.
