Non-Programmable Thermostat for House, Digital Energy-Saving Home Thermostats, up to 1 Heat/1 Cool Single-Stage Systems (Green Backlight)

Got two of these for our little church to replace Programmable thermostats ..... which nobody could figure out, but everybody constantly dorked with .... driving our electric bill to new, unaffordable levels. These are darn near foolproof (says the old fool). Also, I love the selectable (i.e very easily selectable!) "Swing" metric .... you can set it between 0.4 degrees and 2.0 degrees ... I use about 1.5 degrees swing, so that the HVAC system doesn't cycle as frequently .... much easier on electrical contactors and other components. And few people notice ... except those who always complained anyway.

It was very easy to install using the wire letters included and works great and is simple no frills, on/ off heat/ cool, perfect for us!

This thermostat is a lifesaver! I bought it for my elderly parent and it's perfect. The simple design and intuitive controls make it incredibly easy for them to use. It was easy to install - no complicated wiring or confusing instructions. And the fact that it doesn't require batteries is a huge plus, especially since the old one broke due to battery leaks. Highly recommend this thermostat for anyone looking for a user-friendly and simple option, especially for seniors!

My old thermostat was ancient and not functioning properly. The buttons were sticking and sometimes it would malfunction on the temp. If I set it to 72 degrees, it would keep the furnace going and not shut it off. I ordered this one and got it the same day. It was very easy to install and came with an RH/RC wire. I timed how many times my furnace is coming on now and it’s 3 in an hr instead of countless times with my old one. I like the black light feature too so I don’t have to turn the lights on to see it and the kids can work it with ease. No more hold button! I only gave it 4 stars because I don’t know how it works with the AC yet since it’s winter

I originally bought a fancy thermostat that also used Alexa. I got a good price on it on cyber Monday and thought it would be awesome. My next-door neighbor is an HVAC guy and he told me that so many people have their Wi-Fi go out and then their house is freezing in the morning. In any case, I would’ve use that thermostat except it required a C wire. What a mess you have to change the configuration of your thermostat as well as going to your furnace and switching wires around. Even though it said it was compatible in my house, it was not. This thermostat is simple to install and it works just fine. I highly recommend That sometimes old school is best.

Large display good for senior citizens and easy to use

I wanted to update my old Honeywell controller which worked fine, but was mechanical and not backlit. I didn't want or need a fancy programable dealy; too much work! I wanted a newer version of what I had...turn the heat up...turn the heat down.Man this filled the bill..love it! After three weeks...I ordered another one for my girl friends house to replace an overly complicated unit that only a computer programer could figure out. She loves it! And if she's happy...I'm happyTwo thumbs up!
