KafTon 5X Copper Tube Butt Connectors Wire Cable Crimp Connector Terminal Battery Starter (Cable Size - 25mm²)

A set of five crimp on cable butt splices. These are made of coated high quality copper for secure battery cable sized electric cable connectors. Each splice had a centre marker nub to ensure have joint in centre when do end crimping. This will fit cable up to 70mm². The butt crimps are easily water proofed with hear shrink sleeves and or ordinary black or red or wire colour matching electrical tape. I used a couple of these to replace worn battery cables with new and slightly longer for better, easier terminal clamps to battery. The other three will be used to replace cables on boat when next at her birthing dock. 12v, 24v DC is easy as did both first two splices in a couple of minutes. The crimp on cables supported my body weight when tested, so these are very good ones.

Decent quality but I’d have liked more items for the price

These do the job well and are good quality but I think they are quite expensive at 5 for £14.79.

As the title says these seem good quality however I won't be using them because silly my ordered the wrong size.I assumed the diameter I ordered would be ok to join a heavy duty van jump lead but the connectors appear to be for proper heavy duty industrial 3 phase cable (I can put my fiñger through the crimp)

If you are looking at this advertisement you will know that to join or extend heavy electrical cable you need butt connectors. Kafton sell these connectors to suit most cable sizes and judging by the ones I ordered they a well made indeed. They have a malleable copper barrel which encourages secure crimps and are tinned to help prevent corrosion. They have a punched-in cable separator in the middle of the barrel to ensure both cables have sufficient contact. They have flared ends which makes assembly easier. Highly recommended.
