Overall a decent BT receiver:*Sound quality is very good: I get better sound from my stereo using this BT than plugging directly into the headphone jack of my cell phone or tablet.*Pairing is quick and easy. My Mac Mini thinks the BT is a keyboard, but will still use it for sound output.*Battery life is okay at 4 hours (as stated by the seller in answering a question, but not listed in the description).*Range is good, with only very occasional glitches when source is three rooms away (about twenty feet, and several walls).*It will even play media without any interference or static while connected to power.Its only flaw, but I consider it a major one, is an annoying and loud electrical interference buzz while charging and -not- playing anything. When the BT is plugged in to 5v (1a or 2.1a), connected to a powered output (PC speakers, stereo, etc), but not receiving a signal (either unpaired or media is paused) it generates buzz. The buzz occurs whether the BT is plugged into AC or DC (but much worse with AC), and whether the output is grounded or not. It will even generate buzz unplugged if the 5v input is touched (directly, or through a short jumper USB cable).I tested my system with a friend's receiver: zero buzz under all the circumstances in which this one generates it. A ground loop noise isolator might help, but they cost about as much as a replacement BT. I need one I can use plugged in (or that has longer than 8 hours battery life), so I'll probably buy the one my friend has, and keep this one as a spareI considered giving it two stars, but had to concede that this is a pretty good receiver, particularly considering the bargain price. Minus the interference this would easily be a five star product. So if you need less than 4 hours play time or your output is unpowered, this a great option. But if you need to use it plugged in and connected to a powered system you're going to want to look elsewhere.

Initially it worked fine, pretty good quality. But after few weeks, it seems battery is drained very quickly, less than an hour sound quality & mic become bad (on calls, other persons can't hear my voice clearly). The good thing is it can be charged while being used, but what's the point getting a wireless bluetooth if it still needs to be powered by a power bank, laptop or wall charger. It's cheap, though, ten bucks, hence two stars.Update Aug.25,2017: Changing this to 5 stars. After posting review above, I was contacted by the seller, offering replacement at no cost. Tested replacement for a couple days so far. It works well, clear sound, good battery life. So, the 5 stars are more for combination of product & seller, YOYOFOX. Thank you.

Was working great, then after 4 months, it would no longer hold a charge OR it just generally malfunctioned. It would connect, play music for about 5 seconds, then stop, and lose the connection. You can re-pair all you want, but it will repeat this nonsense. If you don't connect it immediately, you just get "battery low". Clearly, you get what you pay for.

It worked for the first week and then started to become static-filled. After about a month, the aux input became wiggly and only played music on one side of the car. And finally, about three months in, it totally broke. The entire device fell apart. I gave it two stars since it was really great at first, but quickly deteriorated. I guess you get what you pay for...$$$

This is small, compact device is perfect! 100% at 9am morning, I have watched 4 episodes of House of Cards so far on Netflix and still only on 60% at 4pm!! I could keep going!Remained connected the whole time; never disconnected even while idle.Btw, the device will show as "Bluehooth music" in your Bluetooth pairing screen (incorrect spelling, 't' is missing, but whatever lol.)Thank you!

The volume on this is LOUD each time this thing starts.I mean LOUD. Beyond tolerable.No way to fix this.Each time you turn it on and connect you get an extremely loud sound in your ears, and you have to fiddle with the controls to turn it down.Ridiculous.

I bought 2 of these devices, from different companies. This one outlasted the other. I purchased this in December 2017 and it still works today.My only gripe is the annoying "battery is low" notification when your battery is low.

I had originally given this product a 3 stars after ithe headphone jack came off a few weeks later. But their customer service contacted me within hours and two days later I had a replacement part. This one doesn't wiggle like the original did. It works as described and feels sturdier than before. I'm thoroughly satisfied with the product and even more so with the customer service.

I use this all the time to listen to audio books while working in the household, also to listen in bed without the bulk of my iPad or computer attached to me. Does not need to be recharged constantly if it is turned off when out of use.

Audio quality is decent. No better than the audio on the phone. Makes a beep every time you adjust the volume by 1 level, like Bluetooth boomboxes usually do.

I got this and was never able to pair it with anything. waste of money

very bad battery life. The fist week it lasted for about 3 hours. It went very bad very quick. In couple of weeks a charge only lasts about one hour.
