St. John's Wort Healing Salve is an all purpose healing ointment for cuts, scrapes, burns, bug bites, rashes and other skin ailments. The beautiful yellow flower of St. John's Wort contains hypericin. The hypericin gives our organic salve it's beautiful red color. (TIP: If your St. John's products don't have a natural red color, how much pure St. John's wort do you think is in it?) Hypericum oil is antiviral, and can be used to treat sore and inflamed skin conditions and is a wonderful wound healer and can also be used to treat bruising. St. John's Wort Healing Salve is made with organic, St. John's Wort, calendula, and comfrey from our farm, with wild crafted St. John's wort flowers from the pristine hills of Maine and New Hampshire. The St. John's Wort flowers are cold pressed for at least six weeks to obtain maximum healing benefit. Calendula is a great wound healer, and is an antibacterial, antiseptic herb. Comfrey acts as a demulcent, and helps to heal the wound quickly. Chickweed stops the itch, so you don't scratch. Please Note: Because we only make our St. John's Wort oil with fresh flowers for optimum quality and properties. We have a limited supply. Once it's gone, it's gone until next summer.
