Nice jar for dog treats. I prefer glass to plastic and the cute bone lid seals freshness in. I'm very happy with the purchase!******REVIEW UPDATE 2-26-14******I only washed this by hand even though it said dishwasher safe. Today, I pulled up on the cute little bone in the lid and the cute little bone came off in my hand, leaving fragments of glass shavings in the treats. I am NOT SO HAPPY with the purchase anymore!! This should not have happened with ceramic & glass.....guess it's back to plastic!>:(
