I've always loved this type of door mat made from recycled tires. Vintage look and lasts forever. It's the best for drainage on wood decks. No soggy mess underneath, like you get with rugs and rubber mats.

Mat color varies in ad. I got black.
In the Amazon ads the mats are shown as brown, black and gray. I got black. It just came today so durability is only based on it looking well made,

Dogs
My dogs bring small rocks in through the dog door, the rocks get stuck between their toes. This has been the best solution I have found for this problem. It is really helpful for collecting any dirt they bring in as well. I have 5 big dogs going in and out of the dog door all day and it is still in good shape (had about 1 year). This mat is heavy so it also stays in place.
