Great u brackets which perfectly fit a 2x4 board. Brackets were easy to install and seem quite durable, so very pleased with this purchase

Item was as described and heavy duty, but I realized it wouldn’t work as I was planning (to mount my dining room table leaf). But would work quite well for uses advertised.

I put these on my fencing with a 2x4 between them. It keeps my gate closed well. Noone can open gate from outside and the wind doesn't blow gate open.

Nice hardware, good quality, heavy duty.’The only problem I noticed was when using a drill to install the screws you have have a slim drill bit extension because the hole that are provided on the leading edge are too small too pass most drill bits through to meet the holes on the door side of the hasp. I bought a one price 4 inch Phillips #2 and then it was easy to install the unit. Very pleased , I bought one set and then bought 3 more sets immediately after looking over the first set.

Product as advertised

I used these brackets as a U clip to support a floating ramp for our dog to get into our pontoon boat. Brackets are very sturdy and worked well for this application.

Worked fine. But opened package soon as it arrived. No top on box , looked like someone took out of recycle bin. Paint all chipped, paint chips in bag. Would return but needed to finish door security.

Quality product that came with appropriate sized screws.
