Over a 2 year period I have purchased 8 of these cameras from Amazon (4 were stolen - worked fine, and not this brand) this review compares this camera to the other 7 in the $40 - $70 price range.Pros:This camera has a sliding battery door that is much easier to access than the other 7 brands (no inserting something small into a smaller slot to pop off the battery door.The remote worked in starting video and taking photos. If you are recording and press the red photo button, it will take a photo, but will also stop the recording...This model will record while connected to an external power source, making it idea to record 4-5 hour events if connected to a 10000 mah powerbank, without need to fuss with battery changes.Cons: the two included batteries have a silver film over the standard black battery bodies. Not knowing this when the battery would not seat properly I assumed it was because of the silver wrapping. I removed the wrapping, as it seems natural to do due to the assist flap of plastic that allows you to more easily remove the tightly fit battery. Upon doing this the battery was sticky, without the assist piece, and the body of the battery was not a solid piece. The plastic wrapping was actual part of the foundation, not just decorative.There is only one button on the side, it is marked with the Wi-Fi symbol. The top button found on other cameras is not present on this model. Scrolling through the menu requires you to use the top OK button which on other models navigates you through menu items and not the specific selections.There is no bag, case, or any packaging container other than the thin retail cardboard box. I don't know if my unit had been previously returned or refurbished, but when I pulled the thin plastic molding from the box to handle the camera, pieces literally flew out all over.

This is my day 1 review so far amazing for the price but here is a tip to using this camera! Don't use 4k or 1080p they are garbage!!! In the settings turn the resolution to 2.7k idk what it is but it just looks perfect compared to the other resolutions.Next Day...I decided to return the camera, I drove my motorcycle and the battery literally dies within 3 minutes. I tried everything and these battery's just aren't big enough or this camera sucks too much energy...

This was worse action cam Battery died under 10 minutes and the Quality was poor

Great product once you figure out how to work it. Great video and pictures. Plus that is comes with 2nd battery as they do not last long. Overall, Highly recommended!

No instructions or anything, litterly a box full of pieces that I have no idea what goes with what.
