Bariatric Fusion Meal Replacement Protein 21 Serving Tub Chocolate Peanut Butter for Bariatric Surgery Patients Including Gastric Bypass & Sleeve Gastrectomy

I was taking another very similar product (basically it was the same thing, same ingredients) that was much more expensive. Like most brand snobs, I was under the mistaken impression that "costs more" equated to working better. Boy was I surprised. I am on my second canister now. I bought chocolate for the flavor. It tastes good, mixes well with water, with almond milk, and with Lactaid Whole Milk, with the latter of the three still being a touch clumpy but not bad at all. I am happy with how it works for me. I have had no issues with having an upset stomach nor any side effects that I can detect. I am happy and pleasantly surprised with this product.

I have a hard time getting enough protein, and I’m so sick of sweet protein smoothies and artificial sweeteners. This soup mix is a really nice change. The flavor is great, very similar to the Cup of Soup mix that used to be popular. There is a slight smell that synonymous with protein powders but once it’s mixed with water I don’t smell it.I mix it with hot tap water. I usually use 16 oz hot tap water, 2 scoops of the powder and one chicken or veggie bouillon cube. Then I slowly sip it. Don’t use water over 140° or the proteins will clump into an impossible to eat goop.I will definitely be buying this again. My only complaint is - why use such a large container? Just use one large enough to hold the contents - not twice the size!

Perfect for after Bariatric surgery, when everything tastes too sweet. It has a nice texture and I only added three drops of almond food flavoring to it and it was perfect. I would highly recommend it for people who have surgery and need something that’s less sweet. I’m so glad that my doctor recommended it.

I ordered this and another chicken flavored protein powder at the same time. The flavor of this one is vastly superior to the other one. It’s not as good as the best tasting chicken broth that I’ve ever had, but totally palatable and it’s hard to even find savory protein powders.It does not, however, dissolve super well. I tried some hot water (not boiling, I used an electric kettle with a thermometer and I think it was about 170F) and the result was little gluey blobs and some grit. Next time I’ll try cold water and then heating the mug.

The product breaks down easily when stirred into plain water into a palatable shake with a good texture. Nutritionally matches the expensive product I was given in hospital. It is slightly sweeter than I prefer but it compares favorably to a Starbucks type coffee drink without the medical taste of a supplement drink

This product will not completely dissolve no matter how you mix it. The clumps are flavorless and gritty. It smells like chicken soup but does not taste like chicken soup. Not a good option for meal replacement if you have to drink it.

After using several products, I decided to try Fusion. I liked that there were several flavors, however, all have a very chemical taste to me. I won't be purchasing Fusion again, but I am sure others may find it satisfactory.
