Great Value, easy to install (relatively) and has given my sons 2013 Polo a nice working reversing camera that comes on when he selects reverse. (wired into reverse light)

It’s not bad!A few things to consider. The parking lines are absolutely useless. Even with the camera fully down they are never parallel with parking spaces and needed to have been drawn flatter, this was tested on all 5 lines given.The lead from the camera is quite short. I read a couple of review where they’ve installed it and it stopped working, I suspect what’s happening is this cable is the extension cable is being pulled out from the camera cable. The cable is so short that you can’t fish it under any coverings so the end is exposed. It is quite secure but I recommend getting some tape and really securing it so it doesn’t pull out when dragging the wire through to the front.The hinge the camera sits in is simply two small screws without a nut or any loctite so could easily work loose. I’d put a bit of glue once tightened just to ensure it doesn’t work loose however the wire will stop you losing the actual camera.The picture quality is good with a good enough refresh rate. It has a good FOV and pretty much gets rid of blind spots in a small car.It does not have infrared illumination but generally nighttime is okay with street lights and the monitor auto adjusts exposure.The button is excellent on the lighter meaning you can turn it on and off when needed. Because of this I wouldn’t bother hooking it to the reverse light cable, just not worth the effort.If you don’t have a digital radio the wire will interfere with radio signal so it’ll be crackley. Just turn the monitor off if bothersome.Generally it’s good, especially for the price.

brilliant value i was going to have reverse sensors but was quoted between 180 and 300 so trout i try this camera for 27.99 not expecting much for that money but wow only had it on a few days but so far brilliant picture on screen can get so much closer to vehicles when parking than using rear view mirror if it stays as good as this i will be well impressed

Camera stopped working, I think due to water damage which is inadequate for a rear view camera

After spending months trying to decide between all the reversing cameras on sale, I settled upon this one. I chose this particular model as I do not feel confident attempting to connect the cable to the reverse light cable, which is what most models suggest you do (this one has both options).I’m really happy with the purchase so far, it was incredibly simple to set up, literally, ‘plug and play’.I’ve positioned the screen just above the rear mirror and attached the camera inside the back window with the enclosed sticky pad.The picture quality is very impressive, I also find it handy to glance at when in the passenger seat when my daughter is driving as I can’t see behind using the mirrors from the passenger seat.I haven’t quite got the hang only using the reversing lines and still use my side mirrors to judge angles but find the camera really handy to see how close I am to any vehicle parked behind.

Only noticed after installing that there was no screen protector and loads of fine scratches on the screen. Does not affect usability and it works well, very ready to set up. Be nice if it would mirror vertically as well as horizontally or the reversing lines could be mirrored verticaly as I mounted it pointing down at my towbar.
