Best thing ever
My mum is type 1 diabetic and she loves this so much. Keeps her pens nice and cool. Plenty of room for multiple pens. 3 ice packs which is more than enough to keep her insulin cold, one or two would do, but three will be great when it’s hot in summer.Definitely recommend!

Last about eight hours
When you have free freezer packs inside it does not hold as much drugs for travelling. But going to the beach etc, it holds what you need. With all 3 freezer packs it lasts about 8 to 10 hours at below 5°C. We have only one freezer pack keeps the items below 30°C for 4 to 6 hrs.

Insulin cooler travel case.
So the description states this is a:-JAKAGO Insulin cooler travel case. Insulin pen case with 3 Ice pack & temperature strips for insulin pens and insulin medicine cool storage ~ Blue. This waterproof case comes with 3 reusable ice packs, which it is recommended to freeze the ice gel packs for at least 8-10 hours in a freezer before using them.*** Enough space for:- * Lancet's * Test strip * Blood glucose meter * Syringe and needle * Insulin pensMy dad has a very similar case, for daily use at home. It's big enough for injections to be in there with spare needles, alcohol wipes and his sugar blood test monitor etc…I like the fact that everything needed to be used twice a day is all together. When done, it just needs to zip up and put it back in the draw.As for the ice packs, we keep them in the freezer, so I know where they are when needed. Plus they can be used for other things too not just for this case. Such as for injuries etc but I use a tea.towel wrapped around as Obviously there's now case / cover around them as you don't want any cold burns from them. The price at the time of this review is £So far so good. But I will update this review if needed.*** Detail's:- * Size:- * 22cm L x 11cm W x 7.6cm H * 8.66" L x 4.33" W x 3.03" H * Weight:- 360g * Brand:- JAKAGO * Colour:- Blue*** What you get:- * 1 x insulin bag * 1 x Interlayer organizer * 3 x high quality ice packs*** Insulin pen case has 5 compartments*** 2 mesh pockets*** 1 inner compartment*** 3 ice packs

Great for travel
Every year we drive to the other side of the country to go on holiday and I have insulin that requires cold storage. My previous cases have always been soft shell and haven't had the ability to keep the insulin cool. The hard shell case protects the syringes and leaves plenty of room for the little ice packs.I can't quite figure out how I'm meant to store the items in there, whether they are supposed to gain inside the try fold freezer pack wallet or in the mess thing on the other side, but I guess I'll do what works for me.I like the temperature gages too. Slightly expensive but will come in very handy and looks fairly stylish too.

Perfect. Great Protection.
For years we have been using the Frio cooling packs when traveling, but they are a pain to use. They require about 20 minutes of soaking in water before use, then you have to push the insulin vials into the puffed-up pack, which requires considerable pressure, which always worries me that the vials could break. Then, getting the vials out requires a lot of fiddling. Also, because they're soaking wet, anything they touch gets wet as well. Once finished with, the Frio packs then have to dry out, which can take several days. This case, on the other hand, is a world apart, and brilliant! It contains more than enough room for several pens, vials, syringes and pen needles, and they are protected by a well made hard outer casing. There are three cooling packs, which just need to be kept in the freezer and then brought out for use when required. This case keeps everything safe, protected, and well cooled for both short and long journeys. We'll be throwing away our Frio packs and using this from now on.

great for travelling
The container is semi-rigid with a nice blue cloth outer and has a carry strap and a zip around the circumference. It opens to reveal a foil lining with mesh pockets to hold any medical items. There is a fold over pouch with 3 pockets for the freezer blocks, a temperature strip and 2 holders for drug dispensers. Again, the pouch is foil lined for insulation. Each of the 3 supplied blocks can be frozen and will then fit into the pockets to keep the case interior and contents cold. The case is well made and very strong so no damage will come to the insulin pens inside as it’s a hard case so can’t be crushed easily. I like the fact that everything needed to be used is all together. When done, it just needs to zip up and put it back in your bag, it is ideal for nights away and holidays.I would highly recommend it.
