The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy is worth it for fans of both the game and those who love collecting Wizarding World memorabilia. It contains extensive artwork and developer commentary that gives you a magical look into this whimsical wonderful world. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan and Hogwarts Legacy is the ultimate dream to play and immerse yourself in. My only disappointment is that it came slightly dented in one corner, but it wasn't that noticeable and I'm having too much fun playing the game to be truly bothered about it. For any fan or collector out there, take a trip to Gringotts and grab some of those Galleons, Sickles and Knuts for this beautiful collector's book for Hogwarts Legacy!

This book is a massive collection of all the details of the amazing video game Hogwarts Legacy. Some reviews complain about it for not being a guide which makes no sense because it's not in the description. Throughout the pages, you'll find a lot of images, renders, drawings, illustrations, and text (which I loved) explaining how they enhanced the Wizarding World and made it playable. Opposite to what some people wrote, this is totally worth the money. I'm incredibly grateful to all the creators and artists from Hogwarts Legacy for giving us this gem.

My husband is the cover artist for this book as well as one of the concept artists at Avalanche, so I'm suuuuper biased haha. It's beautiful and showcases a lot of the good work that the studio put into this game--from multiple departments of Avalanche--not just the concept art team but also the environment, story, and character teams. While I do wish more of the concept art was included for my husband's sake, especially the earlier styles we don't really get to see which evolved into a more realistic look for WB, I still think they gathered a great selection for fans to enjoy, and I'm not just saying that because I've been privileged enough to see behind the curtain. This is just beautiful. Usually I see more words than art but this has SO MUCH art in it. They show so much information, enemy sketches, complete renders, 3D model stuff, concept development art, etc. Some of it I wasn’t sure if it was a render or not! They credit every artist and tell you what is a render from the game. I am in love with just skimming through this and I rarely read art of books, usually just look at the art too inspire myself in art. But I want to read this. I’m so excited read this and enjoy every bit of it!!

First off : I am a Huge fan of the video game. The environment is rich and beautiful to look at - the art design of the game is my favorite aspect. So of course I want the book about the art and making of the game! I wish we could do half stars but we can’t . I’d have given it 3.5. Some of the orientation of images mean that you lose detail where the binding is . There is a quality issue to some of the images - where they were blown up and maybe not saved properly or they are too dark for the page. Some of it feels a little inconsistent and rushed , much like the game in some places - where they had to sacrifice quality based on studio deadlines. Overall though I’m glad I bought it and it would be a nice gift for fans .

Someone was mad because this was not a game walkthrough guide, that’s their fault for not reading what they were buying. Someone else was talking about t-posing 3D models. Even if they are in this book, it’s not all it is. The book is exactly as it’s titled, The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy. Beautiful artwork, and I haven’t gone through entire or most of book yet. 5 Stars, product is what it says it is and great.
