This brand is well known for its sour fruit flavors, but sometimes buying off of Amazon can be a bit of a disappointment because some retailers sell stale goods. That was not the case in this instance. The candies were fresh, flavorful, and a total delight to suck. I love sour cherry and sour lemon so I was pleased to get this four roll package.

Very tasty with right sourness, especially the cherry. I loved tehse as a kid/teen and it was fun and pleasing to have them still around and of just as good quality as 50 or 60 years ago! But they seemed horribly expensive as there aren't many and so good they were gone in no time. Good for a special treat but too costly to keep around most of the time.

It's delicious. It's not super sour (a bit to my disappointment, since I like strong flavored stuff, think Hot Tamales strong). But it's a very pleasant combination of tart and sweet. Like a glass of lemonade on a warm summer day. It's almost a nostalgic taste, even though I've never eaten these candies before.

I really loved the sour cherry flavor, not as crazy about the sour lemon, though...that's why I only gave it 4 stars. Buy them loose in a bag if you can, the rolls are kind of difficult to unwrap.

Many years ago I found these in a drug store and I was hooked.I hadn't seen them in YEARS until finding them here.If you like sour, you'll love these.

OK, I gave it five stars. It's CANDY, not technology, so my expectations were all about how it landed on my tongue. I've read other reviews that dissed this based on long ago memories. I gotta tell you, the Regal Sour Cherry candies were my Go-To candy for much of my adolescence, because they were individually wrapped and I could always pop a few in my pocket. They were my cough drops, my sugar buzz before and after swim practice, and frankly, one of my smoking prevention tools (peers would light up, I'd pop a candy). I probably ate THOUSANDS of them. To my tongue, these are the real deal, and I'm so glad I rediscovered them!

This candy came quickly and looked like it had been carried in someones pocket. The hard candy was very sticky and gummy, my guess is very OLD. Taste was bad, I tried both flavors and then threw them in the trash. May have been counter fitted??? I love Regal Crown candy, I was very disappointed.

They are tasty and sour, but the batch I got tasted exactly like red lifesavers and not the flavor of Regal Crown candy.
