The too small lid made me a better cook!
I like this pan for a lot of reasons. The bottom is stainless steel, it's heavy, it's weighted, it's just right. The handle has a place for your thumb, that's nice. The glass lid has a blowhole for the steam trapped under it. But the lid is a bit smaller than it should be, maybe by a millimeter. We're not talking a quarter inch. So the seal is so-so. The weight of the lid counteracts the sealing issue. Whatever, I'm sure that the design specified a larger lid. I'm not going to return this pan. The cups are GREAT! They're anti-stick, deep, and totally non-stick, as in: you don't need butter or Pam or anything; just dump the eggs in and your good to go! Extra large eggs will fit too. So here's what I'm doing: first, I put the burner on 8, not 9 or 10, but 8. That gets the water boiling soon enough. Then, when I'm ready to put the eggs in, I do that, and immediately turn the temp down to 7, 5, maybe even 5. Now the water's still hot enough to cook the eggs, but it's not boiling to beat the band. It's not bubbling up around the lid in one particular place. When my cup of coffee is ready, I turn the burner for the eggs off. Then I make another cup of coffee while the egg-cups are cooling down. There's still some cooking going on, but it's very slow, gradual, easy on the eggs. My goal is always slightly gooey, maybe 3/4's gooey, and a quarter firm. Remember, no oil, no butter, no Pam. I run the red spatula around each egg, and dump them on my buttered toast, then squirt a health blast of ketchup on my eggs, and head for my favorite table to eat them while I read the New York Times. This is the life! The eggs are warm, gooey, white as snow, DELICIOUS! The toast is hot from the eggs on them, and the butter on the toast is salty yeasty perfect with the yokes! When these perfect poached eggs are down the hatch, I'm ready to rumble through the streets of my favorite city, oh, LOOK, there's Casey Neistat!

Well made.
I didn't expect the poacher to have the heavy-duty construction that it does. A welcome surprise for this price point. It does help to use some spray on the cups for easier release, but the eggs cook perfectly at 4 minutes.

It works!!
This is the first cooking product that I have bought that makes flawless poached eggs every time, as long as you follow the instructions on the literature included, and the instructions are very, very easy. I have bought 4 to 5 products that claim to make perfect poached eggs, but don’t work! They are all sitting on a shelf in my garage.

Best Poached Eggs
My two-egg Eggssential Egg Poacher makes the best poached eggs. The yolk snd white are just perfect and so tasty. It’s also so easy to use - no mess, no fuss. The whole cookware ensemble seems to be sturdy that will last for a long time.I will now enjoy making poached egg everyday for my brunch.

Daily used
It’s great. I use it daily for perfectly healthy eggs cooked just how I like them. I sent one to my SIL. She loves it as much as I do. I have a 2 poacher and a 4 egg poacher sitting in my glass top. My grandkids love poached eggs now. I have fresh herbs growing in my patio. I put them in my just cooked eggs. Do good.
