Top Quality Headset, Durable, Well-Made. Worth every penny, I wished I had bought this years ago.
Hands down the best headset I've ever owned, and I highly recommend it!I purchased this after being frustrated with how quickly and easily headsets break, sometimes after 3 months or less. I have used this headset for over a year and three months and I love it. I use it both with my phone and my laptop. It gets heavy use, 3+ hours a day every day. The price is very reasonable, it's only a little bit more expensive than a typical phone headset, but it has already lasted FAR longer. The design of the product is clearly superior for durability: there is a single cord, no branching or Y-connectors (these are the most likely to break when a cord is yanked, and the mere presence of such a branch increases the likelihood that the cord will catch on something). The connectors at both end are durable, but the cord comes out very easily so it is more likely to come out of the jack if you jank it, than break. The only minor complaint I have about durability is that the covers for the earcups sometimes comes loose. It's been easy to put the cover back. This has only happened a couple times in over a year of use, and I can be a bit rough with my headsets, packing them in bags and giving them heavy use. After using this for over two years, the thin fabric covers over the foam on the earpieces started wearing out, especially on the left ear. However, it was very easy to create a replacement using scrap fabric and a rubber band or string. This is the first headset I've ever owned where I wore it so long that the fabric was the first thing to wear out! Wow, amazing!Sound quality is good, and the mic quality is also good. I use this both for phone conversations and listening to music, and I have occasionally used it to record audio on my computer or phone. It excels at all of the above. There is also an on-cord volume control. The range of volume is good, although you have to be careful not to turn both your phone volume and the on-cord volume up too high at the same time because that is unpleasantly loud. I find setting my phone to the second-lowest setting gives the on-cord volume a good range that is loud enough to hear clearly when I am walking by heavy equipment outdoors. The earcups are large enough to block out some sound, but they're not as large as full over-ear headphones. I actually like this. Putting this headset blocks out some, but not all of the noise in your environment. You will still be aware of loud sounds, which I think is a valuable safety issue if wearing this headset while walking outside. The headset is comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. The mic can be folded straight up if you aren't using it and want it out of the way. I find it picks up sound plenty well though even when it's not right in front of my mouth, I can angle it up or down a bit and it still records just fine. The adustment stays in place too, there is no slippage or need to periodically readjust.Basically, I wish I had discovered this headset years ago. I wasted my money (and time) trying out many different headsets before I found this one; many of the cheaper headsets broke in 3 months or less. This one all-around better with durability being the biggest benefit, but sound quality, mic quality, and comfort also being good. Given how fast most headsets wear out, this headset has already paid for itself in about a year of use. And it shows no sign of wear. I have been recommending it to lots of people I know. Basically, stop buying those junk headsets and get this!

awesome....here are my pros and cons
Pros:Crisp, clear sound on both endsGreat microphoneMic and ear phones are rotatable and size is adjustableVery good phone connection because cordedI didn't have to do anything special to make it compatible with my phone. I didn't even need to use the included adapterThese can be moved slightly off the ears to avoid being blasted out by the odd loud sound on the other end (for those with sensitive hearing like mine)Cons:Corded which is gangly and awkwardHeadphone ear covers are uncomfortable after an hour or two unless adjusted to not press on my ear as much (they can be adjusted to be comfortable and less restrictive so this is kindof an unfair thing to list in the cons, but even so)More info:I was actually very worried about getting these (because of some of the reviews) but finally decided to give them a try because of amazon's return policy. I'm so glad I did! I've been using these for a couple of weeks now with my LG G4 android smartphone. I can't emphasize enough how much they have helped me lessen my daily frustrations during my business phone calls at home. I was previously using bluetooth LG wireless earbud sport headphones to talk through for phone calls and I constantly had issues with inconsistent volume (both from my mic and from the other end of the line - loud noises would blast my ears out and the mic didn't always pic up my voice). With these, my coworkers say I sound very clear and crisp, and I can hear the people I'm talking to super clearly as well. I was worried because I read a couple of reviews that made these sound cheap or flimsy, but so far these have been wonderful. I have been trying to treat them very gently though because a couple reviews said theirs broke fast. These are too expensive for me to have to buy multiple times, but they are quite affordable if I can get them to last for a while by taking care of them. They do not seem super flimsy to me though, I have to say. These seem just like the old kind of headphones I used to have with my portable cd player, which lasted just fine. This has turned out to be one of my favorite amazon purchases ever because of how much they have cut down on my phone call frustrations.Edit: 6/21/19 I have now been using these for over a year and they still work great. I haven't had any problems with them. I'm sad that I have to buy a wireless headset to use now because my phone headphone jack broke. Hopefully I can get a set that works as well as these.

Works we'll for my need
I'm using this as a computer connection to my ham radio. I made 6 contacts and all gave me good audio reports. The good: The ear pad is soft, they fit well, the mouthpiece is movable, and the audio quality is very good. The bad: The sound through the earpiece could be better. It is usable. I only wanted the mic portion of the headset which works well for me.
