The size makes you feel secure and steadfast that your salt consumption could be actually match you to infinity. The finger flaking methodology allows the salt to be its essential self . It does not like metal grinders. A must have kitchen companion.

Best Sea Salt in the World - also the purest and the healthiest. I always coat my Jacket Potatoes in it before Baking - it makes the Skin Crisp and tasty and the Potato Flesh melts in your mouth.

I've been using this since I was taught to cook as a child growing up just outside Maldon - that was a very long time ago and I've never needed to change. What I like best of all is it's crushability. What I mean is you can either put it in whole, or you can easily crush it to a pretty fine consistency in your fingers. No pestle and mortar or mill is required. I do have fine sea salt in the cupboard and I use it for just one job - making pasta - but otherwise, we use the various Maldon salts for absolutely everything else.

It’s salt - good amount and had several times = 5* but 4* this time as it wasn’t well packed and lid was cracked. A couple of tbsp in the box and one on my floor on opening box. Not enough to send back but only way to give packaging feedback. Don’t be dissuaded from buying - good VFM as long as not too much spilled into box en route….;-)

Good quality salt, use it for baking and cooking. Plenty of it.
