I give it five stars because it appears sturdy and up to the task. I have not used it yet to provide comments on any experience. One thing to note is that the description claims 25mm distance between the two inner walls of the pad, but the actual measurement is 26mm. This pad is less wide than others, but still a bit too wide for jack stands with narrow bars. E.g., the Daytona 3 ton stands nowadays have 23mm bars. I'm yet to asses the safety implications of using a bit wider pads on a narrower jack stand bar. The force applied is almost entirely vertical. However, being stable under tangential stress to the pad is relevant when jacking up and down the load. Padding a bit the jack stand bar before installing this rubber protector is a reasonable approach. In any case, the rubber pad is not designed to sustain large lateral forces anyway, so padding the jack stand bar should work

These have worked well on pinch weld of vehicles. Holding up well. However, you need to measure you stand's bar crown for WIDTH (e.g., .9 inch, 1 inch, 1.25 inch). These can typically handle the variations in curvature pretty well, but you need them to stay on, and there is no such thing as a "standard" crown width on the jack stands out there. So you need to measure yours, and then find a unit that is the correct size, where the size of the rubber is exact, or .1 inch LESS than the size of your stand's crown width (so that it must be pushed on hard, and then it will stay there.)

These are great for my car jacks. Instead of jacking my car up and using my jacks to hold my car up, I put these solid rubber pads where the top of the carjack would be in contact with metal part of car, so now the frame rests atop the car jacks with rubber pads and that’s a good thing. I know there will be no damage done to car frame.
