This book helped me further understand my French bulldog pet. It’s a good thing that the author included some effective training methods on how to sit and make your Frenchie respond with a whistle which I could use to teach my Frenchie pet as well. Loved looking at the pictures also. Overall, it’s a wonderful book and I had an excellent reading experience. I highly recommend it!

Nice book but very basic

This is a great book to read especially if you’re a dog lover! I have a niece who loves to play with their pet which is a French Bulldog. I’m not familiar with these dog’s personality and temperament that’s why I’ve been reading books that would give me more information about it. Good thing I happened to read this book. I learned that they are the best companion for children because of their easy-going attitude and tolerance. So now, I have nothing to worry about whenever my niece plays around with it. I also had a wonderful time looking at the adorable pictures which the author also included within this book. Highly commendable!

I was surprised that they were brought into being from a cross between the bulldog & rat terrier in the 1800's. really cute ears & eyes but have health problems or can have... a lot to think about. Not easy to train but they are small & friendly. Keeping them socialized seems important- they drool too! Oh boy...They are not swimmers or runners & may need baby wipes for their rear end.... enjoyed the book!

This french bulldog bible tells a lot more about this dog. I've learned a lot of things that I didn't know before about french bulldogs. The book is very useful and makes you take care of your dog to the fullest. AWESOME BOOK!

Seriously. The positive reviews here must be a joke. First of all, the content is very general. It’s basically a lengthy summary of the breed. There’s a bonus (!) chapter with photos in black and white of frenchies. And they even include a picture of a pug. The biggest mistake of all, was at page 66, suddenly the text cuts off and I’m given a 20 page test on analogies. No kidding. This test even includes a publishers mark which says, “10 May 2018.” The day after I ordered it. We are returning this item and ordering a different book.
