Obviously I replaced a non-functioning one that came with the chair and left me sitting on the floor. This one works great, goes up very fast, and I think it even goes a little higher than the original. This is an excellent product.

Received just the cylinder and gloves (very nice). Apparently it doesn't come with instructions. That would really be helpful.

Perfect fit and easy to install. All you need is a hammer and some penetrating oil. It's easier if you have a friend help but I did it myself.

Fit my old, high back, desk chair perfectly. Didn't need the gloves, but good addition to the package in case I did need them.

Fast delivery. The chair sits a bit higher than with the original gas lift. The good news for me is that even if it stops working, the char is not going to drop to a really uncomfortable level. Have been using it for over a week with no problems. Smooth action and holds the height well. It was a relatively inexpensive way for me to avoid spending 10x $ on a comparable executive chair with seat height, tilt recline, back angle, back height and lumbar support.

Works great in my Knoll Chadwick chair. The chair is slightly higher than before but that is perfect for me. Getting the old cylinder out was a pain. You have to use wd40 and then wack on the side of the existing cylinder with a mallet while holding the chair upside down. Eventually it'll pop out.

I had an old chair I liked, however was too short for my new desk. This gave it that little extra boost in height that I needed to allow me to be at the proper height. The gloves are a nice touch

Easy to install! My previous one was broken and the chair would lower by itself. Switched to this one, it's even better! I'm 6'3" and now my chair is a lot more confortable because of the added height!
