UPDATE: I've had this for over two years, and I still love it. I grew my hair below my shoulders, and it dried my hair just as well as it did with my chin-length bob. The only thing I don't like is not being able to get my hair smooth. This is rarely an issue, but there have been a handful of times in the last two years when I would have preferred a sleeker look. A regular blow dryer will work fine for those rare occasions, once I remember to buy one. (I gave mine to one of my kids after getting this one.) ---------------- Original review: My hairstylist recommended I try a brush/blow dryer combo, and this is the one I decided on. I'm so glad I picked it. It's lightweight, it includes a cool setting, and it works *fast*. I have a chin-length bob and fine hair, so it didn't actually take a *long* time to blow my hair dry, but my attention span is shorter than my hair, and I never dried it all the way. With this, my hair is dry and completely styled before I get bored and quit. No more fighting with a round brush and a separate blow dryer, and the area at the top where you're supposed to hold it with your fingers is big enough and really stays cool. It's easy to coax my sides forward, I get so much more volume than with a regular blow dryer, and it's such an all-around great addition to my bathroom appliances that it made some obsolete. I don't know how well it will work on thick or natural hair, but if you're looking for body, don't pass this by.

Best round brush dryer I've used and I've tried them all. I'm buying an extra just in case one day I need another. Great heat, has cool setting too. Not to heavy. Bristles are perfect for me. 3 size heads but I prefer the larger one. I'm happy. Its taken me a while to find the perfect round brush dryer,most aren't round they are Squamish, this one is round and gives a nice curly wave and body..I have curly kinky thick shoulder length hair and it smooths it nice without it feeling too straight or thin. It keeps the volume yet tames the frizz..my hair is happy again..

Size: 3 round brushes perfect for most styles. If you want smaller, tighter curls, you need a 1" barrel which I WISH I could add on from CHI. If they add this, please reach out, I will buy the add on 1" barrel. Fast fast drying. I wish it had a MEDIUM setting, but the 3 settings do the job fine: COOL (no heat)/LOW HEAT/HIGH HEAT. The bristles grip the hair without any pain, no damage, no "can't get your hair out" issues. I really like the bristles. Listen: you can get one $20 -$25 (on a no brand)-cheaper, but this time, spend your money on a tried and true brand that is in Ulta/Sallys/salons/used by hairstylists in salons....that's what I told myself. The blow dryer is not heavy or bulky. The brushes are ROUND not oval....so they are right for shorter, medium length hair. Say hello to SHINY, FRIZZ FREE, styled hair in minutes. Now I look forward to doing my hair. And on the 2nd, 3rd no wash day just dampen hair and re-style with ease and salon results!! Or use the cool setting to re-volume your crown head area. Try it. It's is a bit noisy, but it's not a $500 Dyson....and it's a blow dryer, not a vacuum.

On the search for a device that did it all I have finally found it! Maybe I am just uncoordinated but can't manage to hold that dang round brush and a blow dryer. Here comes this baby with three brush sizes and it works great! It dries my hair in half the time of my other blow dryers (going to salvation army), leaves my hair soft and shiny, and is light enough to take when I travel. I mean I have tried so many devices, flat irons that claim to dry and straighten, Heated brushes that make the same claim. I love this thing! My hair is different lengths so this works on the shorter bangs and my longer hair. I don't know what else I can say except FINALLY , why did I waste all the money!!! Love love love this.

I bought this Chi Hair Dryer Brush at the end of December 2023. Loved it at first. Love the different brush sizes attachments. I only use it about 1 or 2 times a week, so it is not heavily used. However within 3 months, the hot setting started to get WAY too hot. So, I started using just the lower temperature setting. Not ideal, but I could live with it. Within another 9 months, the lower temperature would start out fine, then about a minute into using it, the motor slows and it gets cold and does not heat again. So, within 1 year, of really minimum use, it is worthless and quite frankly I feel it is unsafe to use. I caution you to NOT purchase this item.

CHI 3-in-1 Round Blowout Brush, Hair Dryer Brush CHI 3 in 1, the ratings indicated it was right. But Returned! This unit has a 4.2 rating and reviews, which made me want to order it. CHI is also known to make superior units, but it disappointed me on many levels. My hair is short, and yet some reviews stated it was good for all-length hair and styles. The sizes indicated it would work, so I bought it. My unit arrived with hair in it, and I was not about to use it. I tried to clean it since the size appeared to be good but decided since it was so hot that the hair in it smelled and the handle was clumsy for my arthritic hands. This Unit was extremely hot when turned on. The Bristles were too sharp for my scalp. The Handle was too large for my arthritic hands. I cannot say it’s no good, but for me, it was not. My hands are not large, and I am sensitive to extreme heat. Otherwise, it appeared to be made well. The price point was not bad, considering what is available for less. I returned it. I could not live with the issues of being used and too hot. I knew a unit must be out there that would be good on all the points I am looking for. I eventually found one with Ella-Bella. Good luck.

Bought a 2nd one for a back up. I love this product, my hair dries faster and it doesn’t frizz. It’s easy to use, not heavy, and the cord does not tangle. The attachments are also great. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for one. You will not be disappointed

Great overall value for this product that is suitable for all lengths of hair due to the 3 sizes provided. I have very fine hair and I find that it doesn’t pull, nor do I end up with a lot of hair in the brush when finished. Chi makes great products!

My hair is short and bought 2 more hair dryers which wasn’t work on my hair but one of this products brushes are just right size .

We never usually leave reviews, but we are truly disappointed. Purchased this for my wife in February 2024 (she has always wanted and loved the the chi brand). It started working fairly well (she only uses the biggest barrel), but we found that the barrel was always very unstable (wiggling out of place when brushing) and to top it off... in August 2024, the product began turning on and off by itself, we smelled burning for a few minutes and the product then malfunctioned and the heat dropped by 50%. She can no longer effectively use this product and of course, the 30 day return and/or replacement policy won't allow us to get our money back. For the price (compared to others at much less cost) we are very disappointed.
