Lovely message and illustrations
High quality paper and construction. Illustrations are really nice, colorful. Bought a second copy to frame some of the pages for a child’s room. Appropriate for all ages, but speaks to not having to be big or strong or beautiful to have a voice. Lovely.

Lovely story, beautiful illustrations
This book is lovely. I look forward to reading it to my children. I had heard the author on Family Life promoting the book and that sent me right to Amazon, click, click, ordered. It isn't a "Christian" book, per se, but a wonderful story of a wren who is wondering what she has to offer the world, in comparison to the other creatures around her. It offers easy discussion and application afterwards. And the illustrations are beautiful, as well!

Buy this book. So sweet and inspiring. This book puts tears in my eyes each time, it’s a wonderful message for all. Also I appreciate the spiritual message without the use of “god” mentioned.

Beautiful and moving
My 7-year-old loves birds, and we both loved the story and the beautiful illustrations. I was choked up at the end when the Wren found her song and realized that it was a gift she could share with all.

Absolutely precious!
We bought this for a friend of mine who is pregnant! Their baby girl is most definitely the greatest gift. Very sweet and thoughtful message for young and old ears alike to read/hear!

Worth buying!
I got it for my niece, whose middle name is Wren, and it's just too cute. The artwork is great and the story is even better. The message behind it is just really sweet and perfect while still light. It's been months since I read it but if I'm remembering correctly, the plot is something like: the little bird has a "who am I?" moment while she's appreciating everyone else's amazing gifts and talents, and she finally discovers her own talents when her little heart bursts with joy and she lets out her song. She's small but she can do great things too. So cute.

Lovely story
Beautiful story. Sadly the outside paper jacket was ripped and crumpled on the rear portion of the book :(
