This book is amazing! I'm new to ice cream making and got this book to get me started. I made the "Naked Chocolate Ice Cream" recipe first and it was to die for!I love how they explain the recipes. For example: "... Barbara uses cornstarch rather than eggs to thicken the pudding base so that the cocoa powder, chocolate, and vanilla extract come through in the end product 'as if there were exclamation points around them.'" SO TRUE!The recipes are fun and there are awesome tips scattered into the book along the way including making your own sprinkles and how to get your chocolate chunks the right consistency for ice cream.The top recipes I want to try:Carrot Cake Ice CreamMint-Basil Chip Ice CreamBrown Butter Pecan Ice CreamBrooklyn Blackout Semifreddo CakePeanut Butter Ice Cream with Concord Grape Sauce

This book is amazing, the recipes are from usual to severely unusual, it’s great seeing how each of the recipes work with different flavors, I’m gonna go now and start churning!

Book has lots of recipes that don't take a lot of time and are relatively easy.

A lot of unusual flavour combinations, beautifully written, all recipes are well explained and as far as I know, all quantities work.

Vorgewarnt von einer Reszension, daß die Übersetzung ins Deutsche nicht optimal wäre, habe ich die englische Version bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden mit den Rezepten. Ich habe einiges ausprobiert und finde die Anweisungen klar und durchführbar. Wenn man amerikanischer Rezeptennicht gewöhnt ist, sollte man sich Original-Messbecher und Messlöffel zulegen (die Geschenkpackung Yizish Edelstahl Messerbecher und Löffel mit Messlineal ist bestens geeignet und von gute Qualität) + ein Pyrex-Messbecher für die richtige Abmessung flüssige Zutaten und Zutaten wie gehacktes Obst, etc.
