Absolutely fantastic condition. Loving my new bible for the cheapest price I have seen.

I don’t understand. This Bible is so perfect. I can’t decide if I’ll keep because the pages are SO thin. They do not easily separate and a slight bend wrinkles the page. I just don’t understand why they didn’t make these so slightly thicker. It is truly beautiful but nearly unusable.

I really like this Bible!There are a lot of pros:1) The Christian Standard Bible is an excellent translation. Definitely read up on it if you are interested, but basically it’s a very nice combination of readability while still staying true to the literal text.2) The single column format is so easy on the eyes! I can’t imagine going back to 2 columns on a page. The single column makes it feel like reading a book. Love it!3) There are nice wide margines. Perfect for note taking or decorating. There is plenty of free space to make this Bible your own.4) The formatting is beautiful and very visually pleasing. It makes it feel very modern and fresh. I think this would be a great Bible for a young woman. I’m middle age and also love the look of it.Cons:1) The font is a bit small. I think that’s a compromise for having such wide margines. It’s not a problem for me but I could see how it could be a problem for some.2) The leather is just ok. I’m by no means a leather expert, but I do own several leather Bibles. This doesn’t feel particularly high quality in comparison to some of the other Bibles that I have. Not a huge con just something worth noting.3) The gilded edges are kind of stuck together making the pages stick together. Like the leather this makes me think the overall quality isn’t the best. Again, not a huge con.Overall I’m a big fan of this Bible. If they improved the quality I think it would be nearly perfect. Even still I think it’s a great choice, especially if you can find it on sale. Given what I consider to be a few quality issues I think it’s overpriced at full price. I found lots of YouTube videos with people showing the inside of this Bible (not the leather cover unfortunately) and it’s definitely helpful if you want a closer look at all of the features and beautiful design.

I only have two complaints for this Bible. 1) you can't buy a version with red font when Jesus speaks. 2) The paper is mighty thin. I agree with many other reviews. Most Bibles do have thin paper that bleed through; however, I do think this one is thinner than my current Bible. Also, the book was designed with larger margins specifically for notetaking. The pages are beautifully designed with the color and verses. With that, you would think that the pages could be a wee bit thicker. Yes, it makes the bible thicker and heavier, but that is a price I would be willing to pay. I LOVE the "diving deeper" scriptures that accompany each book. That and the margins are what brought me to buy it. I am just on the fence as to whether or not I am going to keep this Bible as a result of the thin pages. It might be a deal breaker for me. I would say to everyone though....if the thin paper is the only thing holding you back, order it, check it out and decide for yourself. The margins and the digging deeper verses is worth considering this Bible over others!I gave it 4 stars but did ride the line of 3. The paper is THAT big of a deal to me. I bought some light colored gel pens which I plan to test in my old Bible which has slightly thicker pages. If it doesn't show through much, I may keep the SRT Bible as I am ok with a little bit of bleed through. I do agree with others that this is normal.

I really do like this bible the only downside I would say it has is that the pages are very thin and I was expecting them to be thicker.I write all over it with pen so maybe that’s my issue but even with pencil you can kind of see through a bit. I haven’t taken a highlighter to it yet but I’m sure that would be just as transparent.I love all the little reading guides and pretty lettering and art before each book. It also gives you a break down of the time line and what’s kind of going on before the chapter.I would recommend this bible for sure but also I’m hoping eventually to find a journal bible with thicker pages. I love this bible and the content! It is designed beautifully

Bought this for my Daughter as an adult Baptismal Gift and she loves it!!!

Has great potential but the paper is so thin, many of the pages stick together and it is difficult to separate them. Need to be really careful using this book that the paper doesn’t tear. Who does any form of quality check before the book goes into print, clearly something wrong here. I have many Bibles, all prices, this is the worst paper and it distracts from the contents.

For the price, it's an ok bible. I think colours are not as vibrant as the promo videos. In fact many NLT bibles are bright, beautiful and have vibrant colours in their pages. The letters are small and even the excerpts written throughout really have no significant value. I think Joyce Meyers life points in her bible are more insightful. I m not happy with this but as I use it more maybe might update. Writing is a turn off and pages are stuck like some of the other reviews have mentioned. I have a collection of bibles so can say it's better to get another bible as cosmetically it's not great. Infact it's a waste of money. CSB is a good translation and have no complains with that but the layout as shown of this bible and what I received are not same, some pages art work is not vibrant as if ink ran out of colour. The way they present the bible as saying they hope to appease the eye of the beholder, is a joke as Amazon has much better choices out there. Sorry it's not a go with me, will give a 2 for now but as I use will update.

Simply beautiful and the best was the price. I still cannot believe it cost me so cheap since it’s genuine leather. Would buy it again definitely. Box came in perfect conditions and Bible too.Thank you!
