Orville... as we call him.... has worked wonders. No longer is the roof of the house invaded with pigeons each morning. No longer are the cars covered in pigeon excretions. Orville works tirelessly, sitting outside on 3rd floor windowsills, silently scaring the local pigeons to go elsewhere. Highly recommend.

His head moves around with the wind, must have the Finn in the back of his head to work. Sometimes it gets stuck in the body of the owl if you can’t find it at first glance. It’s quite good at deterring pigeons we have ours on a low roof weighted down with small stones (a lot). Beware it can blow off if not well weighted - ideally should be glued. Hubby made a stand to go over the ridge tiles and attached owl to it. We have another on a stand fixed to a pole. Pigeons have got less. This is a slightly larger model than some.

Waste of time. The head does not rotate and the birds don’t get scared. If you return it then you have to pay £4 for posting it as well as per seller instructions.

The item eventually arrived in good condition and was exactly as described. It’s now placed it in our garden and so far we’ve seen a decrease in the number and frequency of pigeons visiting. Unfortunately there were delays over delivery arrangements which were down to the delivery agent, not selller.

Nice ornament but doesn’t keep the birds away (see photo). Decided to keep anyway as hoping may at least reduce the number of birds visiting the fence

Since it's been on view the pidgeons have not come near it, they have kept there distance. With the moving head it does give the impression that it's a real owl

Dispite the picture and saying the head moves in the spec its just a moulded owl the head does not move
