Nice replica
Great fun transforming it.

Worth Buying for IMPACTOR. Not So Much For The Other Figure.
Wreck 'N' Rule IMPACTOR - a wonderfully sculpted and solid figure. Involved transformation but very nice. I do wish Impactor had been sold separtely though. The Fossilzer figure included in this two-pack ( SPINDLE ), is completely rubbish in its robot form. It really should have no place in a Transformers collection. The Dino mode for Spindle fares a little better and looks adequte. Spindle can be taken apart and made into weapon attachments for Impactor, but it looks rather clumsy.I'd say the twin-pack is worth it for Impactor alone if it can be found at a lower price. I certainly would not pay for the Spindle figure by itself - which I'm sure the manufacturers know, hence lumping it with an actual top-notch Transformer figure.

Good pair of figures that interact well
The ‘Wreck ‘n Rule Collection’ is a subline of the ‘Legacy’ toy line. It is inspired by the popular special forces group known as the Wreckers who were first introduced in the UK Marvel comic during the epic story ‘Target 2006’. At that time their leader was Impactor (a character specially created for that story), who is included in this boxset. As his name suggests, he certainly made an ‘impact’ on the readers even though ‘Target 2006’ featured for the first time in the comic such stalwart characters as Ultra Magnus, Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, Hot Rod, Kup and Blurr. As such, he returned to the comic, despite extenuating circumstances, and has subsequently featured across Transformers continuities, even being recast as a Decepticon and Megatron’s friend. However, despite all that he never received an official toy until thirty years after his introduction. Shortly after, the ‘War for Cybertron’ range produced three slightly different variations of him and the figure in this set is a slight retool of that model. The ’Wreck ‘n Rule’ version has a more authentic purple shading and comes with a new head sculpt and chest panel which all make this figure more closely resemble how Impactor first appeared. When transformed, this new chest panel forms the upper section of the Cybertronian tank giving it an improved look over its predecessors. The shoulder mounted cannon is slightly thinner and the front portion of it is now detachable (although this doesn’t serve any particular purpose). Unfortunately, there has been no improvement of the fairly useless wheels, which means he still doesn’t really roll in vehicle form. This is, probably, the best of the four figures that share this mould, but if you already bought either of the ‘Siege’ versions or the Netflix one, then this figure probably isn’t different enough to warrant purchasing again. As such, the more interesting figure in this pairing is probably Spindle as she is an entirely new character. She also transforms into a Spinosaurus despite being a retool of Paleotrex. The re-use of that mould is exceptionally well done and you wouldn’t know it was the same basic mould at a glance. It also results in a slightly different transformation and robot mode. As well as the entirely new head (in both modes) and the characteristic sail fin of a spinosaurus, Spindle also has a different breast plate. The problem with making use of the Paleotrex mould is that Spindle’s spinosaurus form isn’t particularly as anatomically convincing as the other Fossilizers. Whilst the debate around whether the spinosaurus was a biped or quadruped may continue, Spindle definitely has very small forearms because she is based on the T-Rex mould of Paleotrex. However, the Dinobots have never strived for accuracy in their altmodes and, overall, Spindle’s spinosaurus is great. In robot mode Spindle is probably more disproportioned and ungainly than Paleotrex. But all the Fossilizers have odd looking robot modes at the expense of their altforms.Unfortunately, Spindle has some quite loose joints and components which can make it quite difficult to pose her in either mode. The joins at the ankle of the spinosaurus (which play no part in the parts-forming Fossilizer aspects) are particularly prone to popping off. This is not a problem possessed by mould mates Paleotrex, Transmutate or Skellivore.Rather than go for the ‘old bone’ look used for Paleotrex, Spindle is coloured in such a way as to echo the livery of her pack companion Impactor. This gives a nice unity to the two figures, especially when you combine them in some way that makes use of the Fossilizer gimmick. The suggested configuration of the Fossilizer weapon/armour assembly isn’t great. It results in a somewhat unwieldly axe that looks a little fragile with the spines of the spinosaurus sail forming the axe ‘blade’ and some type of trowel??? But, of course, part of the fun of these Fossilizers is in making your own combinations. The set also comes with the obligatory part of the Wreckers Hammer. Included here is the most interesting part of the cardboard assembly – the main body of the hammer head.
