The clock was silent for a week and after a week it started making ticking noise. The seller advertises this as guaranteed silent.

Great clock for the money. It keeps good time so far and the gauges seem accurate. It looks nice and substantial. It doesn't seem like a cheap clock. I have mine in my garage so it is exposed to fluctuating temperatures and humidity. I do not regret this purchase.
