Blaster Master
I got this for the various shooting games I have. Which I only have about 10. Overall the gun is very nice. However...--The trigger on the pistol grip is a little tight at times.--The piece on the back end, which you can ratchet to shake your Nunchuk and spark a reload, or slip out to go into Pistol Mode, was a bit too loose. Several times I found that in trying to reload, the piece would slip out of it's groove and I would have to struggle to put it back together. (Though after a while playing it wasn't terribly hard to get it back in while shooting to stay alive.)--The decal for the Wii Remote is something of a joke. I was expecting one of those pieces that wasn't sticky like a child's sticker, but rather like those decals you put in your window, that stick to a surface, but easily peel off.Lastly, while there is little in the way of cord storage, I found you can wind the cord up into the area behind the Wii Remote. This is only useful, however, if you intend to stick with shotgun mode the entire time. While I don't typically use them, a wireless Nunchuk would work wonders here, if you can find a reliable one that isn't a battery hog.

Great to have but only if you are a Resident Evil fan or if you have a huge tv and a lot of space!
If you are planning on getting this Resident Evil Blaster or the other Resident Evil Blaster (Magnum with Knife set) then only get them if you are a Resident Evil fan or if you have a huge tv and a lot of space because that is the only way to truly have fun with these guns. Just use them once and then keep them in the box for the collection and play with the regular Wii Controllers. The guns are just way too complicated to use.And yes these guns work for any on-rail shooter games and some regular shooter games! The best to use these guns for are Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, yes even Resident Evil 4 (I'm not sure if they work for Resident Evil Zero or Resident Evil Wii editions I kind of doubt it), Dead Space: Extraction, House Of The Dead 2 &3 Return, and House Of The Dead: Overkill.

Not as great as others
The product is very fun and interesting, and the functionality of the blaster is moderately high... There are a few pros and cons...I purchased a pair of these guns for a large number of arcde-style shooters I have like Umbrella Chronicles, Darkside Chronicles, House of the dead overkill, 2&3, and others....Pros:1. the trigger mechanism is very intuitive and makes the system very reliable2. The way you insert the gun is you lift a little locking lid and just drop the controller in, scrunching up the wire for the nunchuck behind the wii mote and then cloding the lid. Works great, and no room for guesswork.3. The extras are decent... the "skin" is a sticker... useless and only applies once. But the Silicone analog button that came with it is GREAT. it looks wonderful on bothe the white and black nunchuckas. Takes some time to get on, but keep at it, tis makes it alot easier to use!Cons:1. The two controllers I got are slightly different, one has a matte-like silicone finish on the back where the nunchaka goes, and the other is just a gloss black plaztic, like they forgot it or something...2: the wire management (like others say) is a ilttle tough to deal with, but is easily remidied by stuffing the wire into the compartemtn behind the wiimote and firly closing the lid.3. When playing games that require you to use buttons on the wiimote (like the A, +, -, or directional pad) you are unable to comfortable or quickly do it (darkside chronicles and umbrella chronicles (the game this is made for ironically enough) are impossible to play using this remote, or any other like it for that matter...)Overall these controllers are more fun that they are functionaly... still, for 20 bucks you'd think they would have thought about the "A" button...

Best Overall (rail shooters)
By far my favorite gun to play with, me a my gf love to play the on-rail shooting games together. She will use this one but its also easy to use for me also. She is much smaller so she will use the trigger on the front while me being much bigger i will use the chuck on the back for firing.I dont play anything else with these so im not sure how using this for a game the requires more buttons but im sure its not really made for that. Also, i super glued the part that comes off with the chuck cause it would sometimes fall off when i would pick it up or try the reload flip. Become much more enjoyable after fixing that problem.Evil Blaster = House of the Dead Style games (on rails)5 out of 5
