Works great for the price
I have a 25hp merc. The transom savor worked great. Didn't have to trim anything. Recently had boat serviced at Cabellas. Service mechanic wished his store carried this product. I didn't need the tiller blocks as my engine doesn't have the Ram (should have looked at my motor first!). Great product for the price.

Yamaha 90HP 2023
The media could not be loaded. I bought this other one that looked like a tube. It was white. It said it wold work. But my motor requires a yoke mount. Same design as the two pieces on the steering rod for thi product. This is the one for my motor. If you have the same, then you found it. And as far as the quality. I feel like it will last a lifetime. Especially if you take it off after riding. Very sturdy. Ease of use is also perfect. I don't see my boat flippin side to side and when the trailer hops, the motor is secure. Safe buy if it fits your motor.

Needed Modification for 2024 Yamaha 200
Transom Saver block was too wide for the 2024 Yamaha 200. Initial installation resulted in significant binding between the block and casting resulting in about 1/2 hr and a lot of WD40 to remove. Overall had to trim about 1/2 inch off the block (1/4" each side) to provide adequate clearance to prevent binding. Shaft fit and other clearances were fine.

Works great as described 👌, although I did have to trim it down a Lil as it had my outboard sticking up higher than I would like. No big deal as I'm pretty handy and have the tools on hand to make light work of the job.

Smart Product
Just as described. Worked well on 5 hour haul of pontoon boat. Snapped on well and came off easily. I would have preferred that the steering wedges had a line attaching them together so if one fell out or was lost the other would keep them together. Overall, very pleased with the purchase.
