House Industries: The Process Is the Inspiration Hardcover – May 30, 2017

This book is beautiful! It's full color heavy weight pages. The cover is embossed. Almost all of the white pages have a shimmery white jacquard design printed on them. It's awesome to look and and the information in the book in inspiring. If you love fonts and graphic arts you have to get this. I also love the books by Ivan Castro and Jessica Hische and love both of them.

As a collector of great design books. This is a highlight of my collection. It's on a separate shelf with the books that have sentiment or signed, even though this only came in the mail. However, this book deserves to be shown in my best location because of its craft & quality. It's probably the best book I own. Truly Inspiring.

Chock full of great info on typography from true craftspeople of the field. The book is also built with excellent quality construction throughout -- with proper care it should last a lifetime.

I've been interested in graphic design and typography for quite some time and I was excited to finally find a cool resource for some interesting style inspiration. This really is a beautiful book with retro embossed images that take up the full page. I showed it to a coworker on the graphic design team and she instantly bought it. Don't hesitate to purchase!

I love House Industries and this book is a fun read and fun to look at. I was fortunate to get this book autographed by the authors and founders. Talented guys!

The book is wonderful; I do think that the book was graded a bit high. I was well aware of the remainder mark, however, the description did not mention a large scuff to the "leatherette" cover, which exposed white against the dark background. I remedied it by using dark shoe polish to hide as best as possible. I do think this scuff should have been disclosed. Despite the scuff, I still think it was a good buy for the book and I am enjoying it very much.

Fantastic history of the hipsters behind the terrific House Industries graphic design firm. The content of the book is incredible, but of course the design is great as well. If you're a fan of their work, you'll love it. If you're a fan of typography and/or graphic design, you'll love it.

A treasure of a book. House never disappoints. If you love and appreciate TRUE typography then you’ll love this. It’s one of my favorite books.

This book is amazing. The paper, the binding, the hardcover, the print techniques, all of it is amazing. It is an incredible book. I do not regret this purchase in the slightest!

What a super book. I've been putting off buying this but treated myself during lockdown. This is a great gift for any graphic designer, or type obsessive.
