This is well made and looks beautiful, just the way shown in picture. I like thermos with glass interior, as it is easier to clean, no residual affect. The steel ones get stained with residual tea over time. So, in that sense I am old school thought.Tea stay hot for 3 hrs. or so, and that is what I wanted.

I like everything about this carafe. I needed something large and this holds 8 good size mugs of coffee. I like to put on a pot of coffee after lunch to have a cup or two in the afternoon when I'm slowing down. After putting a few cups of boiling water in it while coffee's brewing, this pot keeps coffee hot right til the last cup at dinner. I also like the way the lid works. Only goes on one way and the thumb tab to pour works great. The retro look is just the icing on the cake. It's earned it's 5 stars.

Look great and keeps water hot for 48 hours. I bought it for someone as a gift and heard a lot of complements. Totally worth the price!

It is so hard to find a glass lined carafe. They are the only ones that hold the heat for hours without having to do anything like putting hot water in ahead of time----who wants to do that first thing in the morning! This also has a lid that easily goes on and off and the 45 oz size is great.

This is the best carafe we have found. It keeps liquid warm for a long time which none of the others we have tried succeeded in doing. The kitschy design looks cool on the counter. It is easy to clean and easy to use, we went back and ordered a second one which I believe says it all!

This is a very nice, lightweight carafe. I had another glass-lined carafe for years but I recently broke the lid. I tried ordering a different carafe without the glass lining from a name-brand manufacturer, but it didn't keep my coffee hot at all. I returned it, because it was of no use, and I bought this item instead. I'm very happy with it. It keeps my coffee hot for most of the day.

This item keeps coffee piping hot for several hours and pleasantly warm for at least six. I chose it specifically for the glass lining and hoped that it would look better in person than it looks in the picture. However, while It functions just as I had hoped, the picture is better than real life. It looks old fashioned and cheap. I'll probably be replacing it with a sleeker stainless steel model soon.

This is a beautiful addition to our kitchen decor and will work beautifully this Holliday season. I love a good presentation and serving my hot or cold drinks in this beauty will be a hit. It's 1.3 liters, which is a great size, it is beautifully designed and glass lined carafe insulated. I would absolutely recommend this product.
