If you're familiar with ESL's music , you probably know Isabelle Antena already.She was the girl singing on the opening track of their first compilation (vol1).Thievery Corporation are currently working with her (so say their website).Isabelle is more than the queen of lounge , she created the style.Camino del sol , her first record under the name Antena is a must and shows how the girl is the pionner of electro samba.This "best of" is a perfect example of her beautiful work and the 3 life tracks just make me want to go and see her on stage.wonderful!

this best of is unbelievable! that girl is a genious.her voice is flying over the tracks so easily.from the very 1rst record "the boy from ipanema" to the last songs "life in Japan" , you can hear the maturity and the technical progresses but still she sounds real,almost naïve.wonderful!

I've been following Isabelle's music since the begining (camino del sol) and , although JVC released compilations in the past,this one is really the best.I like the fact that it's only bossanova,coz it shows how she built her own style and became one of the latin divas.

WOW!I have seen this artist playing with Buscemi on his current summer tour, and she blows every other latin singers away! Passionate....expressive....WOW. Can't wait to get my hands on this best of CD! Also Recommended: Buscemi'sCamino real

Ach, hab die CD grad in meinem Regal entdeckt und seit langem mal wieder gehört - sie ist eine Rezension wert.Mein absoluter Favorit ist "Le Poisson des Mers du Sud". Isch liebe es! Bossa Nova-artig.;-) Diesen Titel hat Isabelle Antena auch mit englischen Lyrics aufgenommen, in Französisch ist er einfach authentischer.Auch "Camino del Sol" und "Laying on the Sofa" sind wunderschöne, leichte Sommer-Sonne-GuteLaune Titel, die in Neudeutsch wohl als "easy listening" und "chill out" einsortiert werden. Daneben sind aber auch eher süß-melancholische Lieder, wie beispielsweise "Je Respire", "Eclat de Nuit" und "Ce Mortel Ennui" vertreten.Die auf dieser Scheibe versammelten Stücke sind nicht leicht anderswo zu finden, einige auf youtube. A la altura de mis expectativas
Debe ser que me recuerda tiempos pasados, pero oir de nuevo a Antena me ha encantado. La lástima es que resulte imposible comprar sus trabajos anteriores que todavía me gustaban más....
