The Mace Spice arrived on time was was/is fresh and worked well in my recipe for British Spice - for Christmas pudding

Mace (from the nutmeg plant) is an “old fashioned” spice rarely used these days in Western cooking. It used to be sold in grocery stores but is now difficult to find. I was glad to find that it is used in Indian cuisine and readily available online. This product has an excellent flavor and quality for a great price. Just what I needed!

Fresh and smells great. I’m trying to expand my culinary skills, and I read a lot about mace. It’s great in anything you make that uses nutmeg, and it’s also great in an old fashioned.

Used in Sausage seasoning. Arrived in good condition.

I use this when I bake; it is especially good in pumpkin custard or other pumpkin baked goods, like pumpkin bread, and pumpkin pie. The flavor is excellent, and it is a good buy, since I bake a lot. Highly recommend this product.

Growing as the outside covering of nutmeg, Mace has a more complex flavor and better texture than nutmeg. I prefer to use mace instead of nutmeg. This particular ground Mace has the distinctive fragrance and delicate taste I was looking for. Delivery of my order was prompt.I sprinkle ground Mace over steamed vegetables (such as broccoli) to enhance the flavor. It also creates a delicious pumpkin pie. It is an excellent substitute for nutmeg in other recipes as well.
