This Soldering Iron Kit is the most comprehensive kit for the value I've ever used. Coming with desoldering pump, solder wick, solder wire, a stand, a cleaning sponge, ESD anti-static tweezers, wire strippers, cutters, knife, and screwdriver all within the same very nice case makes this the total package.When first using the solder iron, I was amazed how fast it heats up. I'm used to waiting for a few minutes to be able to work, but there is no need with this iron. All the extra tools are great for my D-I-Y around the house projects. I'm just afraid I may lose it to my family for craft projects and stain glass work.Potentially the only improvement would be adding a temperature control, but that hasn't negatively impacting anything for me yet.Overall, if this product ever needed replaced, I'd get the same Soldiering Iron. It truly is an outstanding product for the value.

I received my kit in about a week which is pretty good. The soldering iron is quite well made and works well. It heats fast and stays hot. It came with a cast cstand to hold it while not in use, also of fairly decent quality. The solder sucker is of average quality, though I did not use it yet. It came with a pretty generous roll of very fine solder and a couple of scrapers made of plastic that I didn't think to be of much use. The green canvas case is pretty flimsy but does keep all the gear together. Overall I give the kit a 4 out of 5 rating. Good value for the money but not great quality.

I bought this Soldering Iron kit for my husband who is an Electrical Engineer. The kit itself is very nice and very well organized. The case is very nice and very well-organized. It has all the tools you could need for any minor repair you would be working on at home. The Soldering Iron is very nice, and it worked well for the repair that he was working on.Upon turning it on, a lot of smoke was produced and the metal on the iron was discolored permanently. It seemed a tad scary, but then it worked very well to fix the wire issue in the toy that was being fixed.This is an excellent soldering iron kit, and it would make a great gift for any tool-lover.Pros:* All tools necessary included* Well organized* Works greatCons:* Lots of smoke initially

I am a seamstress and a crafter, but a recent project called for soldering a few wires. Everything I read had a big long list of tools that I would have to gather for this one project. It was overwhelming and I set it aside until I found this kit. It has literally every single tool I need to complete my project, including the solder itself and a stand so that I don't burn the house down. It heats up quickly and is extremely easy to use. I am actually looking forward to finding another project that will let me use my new tools. Until then, they are all organized in the handy carrying case so that when I do need them again, I won't have to hunt for stray pieces.

I am not a master solder-er by any stretch of the imagination, but this seems like a pretty nice set all in all. I was looking for something to monkey around with and try to fix things from time to time. This kit comes with so many extra tools, I don't even know what some of them do... but now I want to learn. If you're a DIY kinda person like me, I think this kit would work great... but again, it would be inappropriate for me to recommend this for a serious person simply because I'm not qualified to know what makes things "good" at that level.

This is a pretty handy tool kit that includes a good variety of useful gear. In addition to the soldering iron, it comes with a roll of solder, a stand for a hot iron, wire strippers, really fine tweezers, pliars, and a razor among a few other tools for use with soldering. It has already been used to repair and replace a bad wire on a wood router, see pics. Worked well for this purpose and I look forward to using it again in the future on similar projects.

This kit is amazing, I love having all of the tools that may ever be needed in one compact and zip up case. I only occasionally use a soldering iron but it will be nice to know that I just need to grab the case and I am ready to go. It heats up very quickly and the solder flows great. I will look at the descriptions on Amazon of this product to see what all of these great tools are actually intended for. For the price and quality I would not hesitate in recommending this item.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Found this to be a great deal. The items are very well constructed. Heating element heats up rather quick. Everything g tucks away in the case nicely. The case is very solid and has taken some abuse and shows no signs of wear at all. I wish the sponge was a little bit thicker but just go grab a dollar store sponge and cut it out. All in all a really solid product I'd say and has treated me well.
