33 Elemental Water Test Kit - Single Sample Kit

Sent the sample out and got the results in a week. It can detect any element down to 0.001 mg/L or 1 part per billion. I tested my aquarium water due to plant growth problems and for mot plant nutrients were close to what I was dosing min macro and micro fertilizers. However two were at zero Mn and Cl. Why I don't know I guess bacteria maybe sonsumin them faster than normal in my tank.Added more Mn and Cl and plant started to grow again. Had I not used this test i doubt I would have been able to identify the problem on my own. It can easily take a year or more to identify the problem via trial and error. And there is no way else to get the data I needed.. I cannot buy test kits for all the information I needed and even if they were available the cost would have been well above the $30 for this test.But one important note They didn't know what the sample is from and they don't know what your are interested in. So they just give you the levels in parts per billion for each of the 33 elements. There is no jprovided data saying it is safe to drink or if the water has all the nutrient an aquarium needs .YOu need to do that .

It is what is states. You get a test tube to put your tank water in. I mailed it out on a Monday and had the results on Friday. They will test for 33 elements and it will give you an idea if something is going wrong or could go wrong with your water quality. The price is better than the competitor, but you don't get the fancy report. If you know the basics and just need the levels and basically what the element can do (good or bad) than this is perfect and you will save $$$ on the testing.

Notice that none of the reviewers know whether or not the results they received are accurate. They only THINK that they are. I created a calibration solution having about ten different elements to be measured. It is simple to do if you know how to measure various chemical salts and dilute from larger stock solutions. I was able to verify that the element levels in this solution were accurate (the math assures the accuracy, anyway) by using basic hobby-grade test kits.I submitted three separate tests, over several weeks, from this one stock solution. None of the test results were even close to the known element levels in the calibration solution (off by orders of magnitude) and, to make it worse, the three test results weren't even close to each other ...and every test submitted was from the same container.This just goes to show how people can convince themselves that something is good without ever verifying their assumptions. If you are inclined to use this product, at least verify, for yourself, that the results you get are real.

I sent in my water sample and then they sent me an email telling me to install their app and scan the QR code. When I asked them why since they knew who I was and had all the info they needed to send me the result they got arrogant and told me to install the app or they wouldn't run the sample. To heck with them. I told them I would get a test done by someone else, they got even more arrogant and said "go ahead and accept their inferior results."

It’s a little bit confusing on how to get it set up but they are very helpful so if you have any questions I recommend calling them and they will tell you how to get it set up. Great test kit with very quick results.

Okay product, but...1.)You have to take to a place and pay for shipping which was kinda a pain.2.) Took weeks to get results after emailing they said there was a processing error and then sent me the results immediately. Seemed a little fishy (lol), so probably won’t go with these guys again. Made me feel like they just sent me whatever results they had from another test to shut me up.Just my 2centsFor others I have a 300 gallon SPS dominant tank.

Good budget test with budget results as well as clarity of the results. It’s not a value it’s not a rip off.
