Q: Where is this harvested?

From their website: We love to talk about sourcing. All of our products come from small-scale, remote apiaries primarily across Canada and the US, as well as exotic regions around the world such as the Brazilian rainforest. We work with our apiary partners to ensure that our bee products are sustainably-sourced and of the highest quality. We always put the health of the bees first.

Q: Will putting it in hot tea affect it in any way? I tried some in wellness tea to cover the taste.

It is my understanding that if you heat or cook items that are intended to be consumed raw in nature, there is usually a decrease in the efficacy of the products. I take a rounded tablespoon of granules each morning. I mix mine in a tablespoon or so of sugar free jam, honey, pnut butter, cream cheese, etc. let it sit ~ 30-45 min, stir to dissolve the granules and spread it on a piece of toast or plain bagel. If you use this method, there is simply the faint taste of honey itself. If you mix it in the evening, in say sugar free jello or pudding, or the like, put it in the fridge to cool, it makes a delightful, light dessert!
