Soba for all the senses - delicate and kosher, too
I've bought soba noodles before, but never from this company. Because I am a kosher consumer, I have to be careful when purchasing food. I was pleased to see that these noodles have certification from Australia. I just used some last night. I noticed when I opened the delivery box how nice and thin the noodles were, and how neatly they fit into the bag. Upon opening, I discovered that the soba was divided into three separate bunches, with the noodles held together by bands of paper. I was happy to see this, because I was using a recipe which called for 4oz. of soba. They cooked quickly and tasted very good. Due to the recipe I used, they ended up sticking together. The recipe had other problems as well. Next time I use it, I'll make sure to pour a little oil on them along with the 1/4 c marinade. (I'll also change a couple of other things in the recipe.) What I loved most about them was the aesthetics. The slender shape and color gave me the impression of a high quality product. Unlike other soba noodles I've eaten before, I could see the need to keep the noodles packaged neatly. They looked delicate, and I believe that the care to produce, package and ship these soba noodles is reflected not only in their appearance, but in their flavor as well.

Misleading information about quantity
The product information says you get 3 packages but I only got one. $11 is a bit steep for one package of noodles. They are delicious but not at that price...

Delicious
First experience making soba noodles and they turned out great! i rinsed them well in cold water and added them back to the stirfry. trying to include more ancient grains in my diet as I'm trying to eat higher alkaline foods. These were great, especially since they didn't have salt, however I wish there were salt free noodles with a higher buckwheat content!

Three Stars
Not 100% buckwheat, they've blended in some wheat flour, didn't state what percentage though.

Versatile and cooks up quick yet healthy.
I always have these around in the kitchen; they can be used as Soba but also use them with regular spaghetti sauces. As an individual quick meal, I find these very versatile with hundreds of sauces you can make some up yourself. Tonight I boiled them with green beans, drained and added honey and soy sauce, the other day with left over pesto, before that in a soup with miso and green onions. Cooks up in 3-4 minutes, you can throw leftovers in an omelet. Break them in two before throwing into the boiling water. Love the little ribbon wrapped around each serving. Perfect quick healthy comfort food.

Better than expected
I was a little unsure of these, but the reviews made me more comfortable. I've had better, but these were pretty good.

Deceiving product description and price gouging
This product information was misleading about the quantity. I was expecting three units but only got one. This is price gouging as I can find the same product in a Hawaii grocery store for a lot cheaper. On top of that, the soba packs arrived crushed.

Tasty
Love, Love these noodles! I have eaten other brands that cooked up mushy and slimy. Cook quick and taste great.
