My saw vibrates to much to operate safely right out of the box. Help!

Remove the blade, fence and blade guard. Run the saw and see if the vibration is still present. If so.........check all mounting hardware for looseness. Inspect blade for trueness. Reinstall blade, fence and guard being careful to make sure the blade fits properly and securely on the arbor. Run again. If the vibration is still present, I would suggest returning the saw to the seller.

I want to cut antler for jewelry. How thick can this cut?

Hi Robert,I have actually cut rock slices up to 1/2 inch thick. Generally, my slices are 1/8 - 1/4 as I cut rocks for jewelry.

Can it cut 18x18 in porcelan tile ?

Not quite sure what your project entails, but if the tiles are 1/4 inch thick, it should work. Of course, the table is not going to be large enough to always be able to use the fence or the angle adapter.. You may have to "freehand" some cuts.. I used it with 12x12 tiles, and had to freehand some of the cuts. HTH
