Horrible. Never again!
Nice fan, but didn't come with mounting screws for the electrical box. So wasted time from the start. Be sure to save your existing ones or pick some up in advance. I used standard #8-32 3/4" machine screws. The fan only came with simplified instructions for installation. They're good enough if using the down rod, but it's missing some info for flush mount. After spending a considerable amount of time trying to mount it flush, I gave up and installed using the down rod. Since I was installing it alone, it was impossible to wire the connections while holding up the motor with one hand due to fatigue. After I finished installing and coming back to Amazon to see if anyone else complained, I found the detailed installation instructions linked by the seller or manufacturer: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/C1PGDeCccRS.pdf. It's also linked on product page after the Product Information section, under Technical Specification. It's such a small section and easily missed. I didn't see the hook to help hold the motor for flush mount installation, I guess I was on the opposite side of it. Installing the fan blades were a pain, there was no cut-out/notch to fit my screwdriver with Phillips bit, so I had to bend the blades back and up while to install and ended up scratching up the parts due to tight fit. This also resulted in the blades being off center after I finished. You'll need a regular plain Phllips screwdriver, not the ones that accepts different bits, the head will be too large to squeeze into the space that the screws go in.The manufacturer's description made it sound like they are an experienced ceiling fan manufacturer, "far superior than Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, Emerson, Hunter, Casablanca, Kichler and Fanimation", they say. This is totally not the case. I removed and re-installed multiple fans to different parts of the house this week and this was the worst install I had to do. All the other manufacturers have figured out ways to make the install as easy as possible. They supply the mountings screws to the electrical box, provide an easy to see and obvious hook to help with flush mounting, provide detailed installation manual in the box instead of having to search online for one, and also the notch while installing fan blades so you don't damage the fan. Definitely would not buy again. I still have to go back and to remove and reinstall the fans blades since they're off center due to the horrible way I had to install them.

Awesome fan
This was the first ceiling fan I've ever installed, and it didn't take long. To other first-timers, there's nothing holding the fan itself in place other than gravity. I kept looking for something to "fix" the position.I used the included longer shaft, and at 6'3 I feel perfectly safe under it (standard room height). This thing can really move some air!My only complaint is the light - depending on your sensitivity it might be a bit too bright, and the refresh / flicker rate is a bit rough. My whole house uses LEDs, and I think they use a capacitor or something to even out the flicker, but on this fan it is noticeable to me (I don't think many people would notice). I sit in front of a computer all day for work, so I tend to turn the light off as soon as there's daylight in the office.I do worry about replacing the bulb, but I love the fan. Great value for the price.

AS QUIET AND GOOD AS THE EXPENSIVE BIG NAME FANS..
I replaced an old cheap fan that had served me well for a loooong time . Nice ceiling fans like Hunter are great but out of my desired budget and the cheap ones usually are not quiet and you can hear the motor ,Bought this fan based on price and reviews.ITS SOLID GOLD. Very well made , thanks for the quick connects for the light part and it’s very well made.It MAKES NO MOTOR NOISE TO MY AMAZEMENT unlike other Ceiling fans in this price range,The bracket was sturdy and I love the LED Light. It’s still got that warm light feel not just bright White like other LEDS.When I turned the fan on for the first time , the pull chain for light was rattling against the aluminum tube it’s in going out to underneath light. I simply got a piece of white electrical shrink tubing and fed the chain through it up to the top where the switch is and cut it where I wanted it in the bottom of the lamp and put the glass globe back on and no more noise. I didn’t use heat or anything to shrink it , it just accommodated the chain very well and allowed movement of it inside the tube ...I will Be ordering another one for downstairs next payday. The Chincs knocked it out of the ballpark on this one ..

Good fan at a good price, but that light though...
This fan offered a $20 coupon so I bought it. Installation was pretty straight forward even though the instructions were crap images made by people who assume we can't read. Use your words! The fan is very quiet and moves a lot of air. Even on high the motor is barely discernible over the air movement. Totally silent on low and medium speed. The light... It's a proprietary LED light that's bright as all hell. I think saw someone mention in another review that it wasn't very bright. Either it's a fake review, they got a bad light, or they hooked it to a dimmer, because I had to put some foil down in the bottom of the bowl to keep from getting a tan. It's also a very white light, so it feels rather intense if it's in a primary sitting room like mine is. (Right over my head) Since it's proprietary, there's not changing it out if it dies. I'm a clever jury-rigger, so I'll probably retrofit it for a pair of softer candelabra bulb fixture if at all possible. This made me want to dock it 2 stars but I only dinged them 1. Uses standard wiring color/format so it connected to my remote without a hitch. Almost no wobble at all rightout of the box (after I remembered to tighten the screws on drop down rod.)
